have you got a recipe to follow cagne.lol. should give you some instructuions.
otherwise would heat oil then toss in cubes/ strips of pork and move them around a lot till they are sealed on all surfaces. thinly slice veggies and add the hardest ones first as need most cooking. stir it all around for a bit again then add in softer veggies that don't need long.
don't know what you are doing about flavourings etc but add herbs/ spices/soy sauce or whatever as well.
cook noodles separately according to packet. drain noodles put on plates and then put stirfry mixture on top.
or once drained put noodles in stirfry and mix all together before serving.
others might have more helpful instructions. make sure you keep it hot and moving.

  • lol Mrs M, does look a bit silly parked on the drive, but hey, not paying £30 for a new one again.

Cagne - only tip is don't cook the veg to long or it will go soggy :(

Kitchen sparkling, just have to keep it that way now! Hallway and living room next, DD1 sparked out on the sofa, must have been all that whinging (she has been a right pain in the .... today). DD2 bouncing in her jumperoo (best thing I ever bought!), should be able to get a bit done before I have to think about dinner, deliberately doing quick meals tonight and tomorrow, so spag bol it is tonight!

Menu plans are great, been doing them since we were on a serious budget, they really help, plus online ordering means you don't pick up all the naughties like crisps and biscuits cos they aren't there and in your face :D

Even - glad you got a buggy! I ended up getting one from mothercare in the end, not as cheap, but they were on offer, so not too bad.

Ok, I know somewhere I have a few weight watchers cookbooks in the boxes, if anyone wants? Feeling a bit like a touter atm with all these books, but not out for profit, just want to help and get rid :o Oh and veggie, and fish ones. Speaking of veggie, have a few put by for mambury cos I am oh, so organised and forgot to post them :o Really need to get my list sorted and over to everyone.

Eek, got a horrid feeling that something bad is gonna happen! Just got an invite for another part of shop and scan and also qualified for a product test. Nothing good ever really happens to me, think its softening the blow for something bad?
  • Right.... My Day in a nutshell......

If it could go wrong - it did!

Had a hospital app with DS at 9:45, got up early to check my emails and respond to anything i needed to - and the Broadband was disconnected.... Start of a very bad day!

leaves for hte hospital 30 minutes early - no traffic and get there at 9:15 for a 9:45 appointment, and yet we are still late - spend the next 30 minutes trying to park and end up walking 10 minutes to the appointment without a buggy as Id left it at home.

so the appointment goes well (the best news of the day!) and on the way home I need to pick up an engine from the lockup, go there and have no keyes for it! So drive home, drop OH and DS off and pick up keys, go pick up the engine and twang a muscle in my middle back. Then go to B&Q to pick up the materials to box the engine up - find everything I want within budget - cue up in the queue - and ive left my wallet on the side when I picked up the keys. Leave stuff there - go back home pick up wallet - go pay and collect materials and go back home. Ring up BT to find out why broadband doesnt work - and they say I have not paid the bill. (Which I paid last week when I received the reminder for the bill i hadnt received and kicked off over the phone to mumbai), so I phone them up again, give them my phone number and account number 3 times (Why cant we just have UK call centres?????) and go through the whole rigmarole of them accusing me of not paying my bill when I had the authorisation code etc etc from the transaction - only for them to find the payment and apply it to my account and tell me my Broadband would be down for upto 72 hours whilst they got an engineer to the local exchange to switch it back on

  • wow NLID that is a bad day!

Chill, big deep breathes! Had the broadband thing happen a couple of times to me, frustrating.

Least the hospital went ok. Don't do anything too strenuous or you will do your back more damage. Lastly, what the hell were you doing trying to pick up an engine in the first place??? That is just asking for trouble, I should know, OH has done that before (boats, cars, same engines). Thankfully, he now has a JCB engine which is way to heavy to bugde, but he was forever doing it when he had a ford in there.

I prescribe a long hot bath and a bottle of plonk. Start again tomorrow, can't be any worse :D (she says!)

ok NLID at least it wasn't a bill you had forgotten to pay and ended up out of budget for
You did manage to find the things in Band Q within budget.
despite being late for appointmeant you were still seen and it went well.
despite not having broadband you obviously have some way of going on line so you can still come and talk to the dribblers.
when picking up engine and twanging your back the pain didn't make you drop the engine onto your toes and break them rendering you unable to drive for a few weeks.
there you are a few things that could have gone wrong that didn't. lol
