Hi Jo
Thanks mummyandp got a pink stroller reserved for GD when she stays....bargin
Thanks for the book its for DD she will love making sweets for her aunties and friends
will pm my address0 -
Been having more drama with older daughters this morning
think when I move I wont leave forward address
Got text from D2 saying she had sold tickets....but she had already offered to pay for them and said give them to D1
I texted back explaining this and have been bombarded with abusive messages
apparently she wont pay, and she doesnt want anything more to do with this family but not put as politely
Dont know what I have done to deserve this
went round to d1s last night to take GD washing and gave her tickets and told her to take who she liked, she started to try and !!!!! about her sister but I stopped her in her tracks and said I wasnt interested and I would come and pick up gd on saturday
So back to square one
My counceller thinks they have behaved appaulingly, so do I
Have emailsed D2 the messages she sent saying to give D1 tickets and asked her not to send anymore abusive messages and go and live at her dads if thats how she feels....poor man0 -
Still very upseting as it was all because I was trying to do something nice for them
Trying to keep my chin up and be strong....when your kids are little and love you you never expect this might happen....its so sad
My mum isnt close to me and I wanted to be different to her as its hurt me a great deal, doesnt look like thatll happen ..old pattens seem to repeat0 -
big big hugs even.
impressed by how you handled dd1 . took washing which was supportive. gave her tickets which was big of you and didn't get dragged into badmouthing DD2.
Things like that will change patterns but it may be a very long time before you see results. its a very long tunnel and you may not see the light at the end.
I just think if its going to be horrible anyway you may as well look at trying to respond in a way that may change patterns as it may pay off and you won't be worse off for trying.
Just because they have responded in the way of old patterns doesn't mean they haven't noticed that you have tried to do something nice but they are still caught in those old patterns and it might be a long time before they start responding differently.
I think you are doing great but its hard when you don't see progress.

Hi Nixi ,
No pressure with birthdays and kiddies you have had loads on of late. And then I only just started getting better over the last week, despite my mole person look! Lol.
But, you sound really motivated glad that you are raring to go : )
NLID – don’t forget ready to go on updating the SEO site. I have Mabel’s site to Finish, and I have Madam Nixi’s site to work on. But, if you have any ideas that you want to chuck at me to ponder in the meanwhile. More than happy to mate! And we can rejig your site whenever you want.
Mummy&P – Nothing better than dancing and cleaning!
Nikki – hope that the little guy feels better soon x
Amber – if you are reading – sad face – it is a shame that we couldn’t catch up! Hopefully there is a next time and it is a next time soon : )
[FONT="]Evenstar – just keep you head held up. You are seeing a counsellor which is excellent and with that support you will get gradually get your self esteem back as I know with all of the family troubles and things you have experienced it has been a low time for you. But, one thing I have learnt over the years when your self esteem grows the respect that people show you will grow too.
As you grow in your own personal strength so many other things will fall into line so keep moving forward and don’t let your daughters get to you. I have vague memories of what a git I was at times, and thankfully I grew up and grew out of it – the same will happen with them too. Thinking of what Jo said about changing patterns, a very good book that I read was emotional alchemy. It is written by a psychotherapist and is about chaning patterns in relationships and your reactions to others. xxx (((hugs)))

I blame the dribblers, I was just about to do it and then you drew me into your merkin laced web of jibber jabber. That and a tea break are the reasons for my tardiness! Logo making I go!10K 2010 challenge £3202.59/£10000
