Oh yes, Jo I know, I know, TBH I had a mega nap in the afternoon that day so woke up effectively at 10PM hence the stupid o'clock tweeting. I have been pretty good to myself, trying to get as much sleep as possible and letting myself rest when I am tired.
The best thing has been minimising the TV watching, I tend to treat myself and watch iplayer at work in the afternoon. But, I stay away from the TV at home as much as I can, it is a thief of time!

Jo, you are right it is the people opposite - just really terrible and a senseless waste of life. I can't believe that someone could do something so callous.

My friends house was petrol bombed about 12 years ago, with us in it. Me, my friend, his wife, their two kids and his wife's friend. The friend of my mates wife had been going out with her new fella for a few weeks and it was his ex who did it. Never charged but we knew it was her. She had been at the door screaming and threatening about 10 minutes earlier but with the kids at home no-one thought she would do anything like that.
Luckily it came through the back kitchen window so we were able to get upstairs to get the kids out. Had it have came through the living room window it would have hit me on the back of the head. It destroyed the house so quickly, I was stupid enough to run back in and save a huge pile of ironing so they all had something to wear. When I got out, I realised the ironing had been right next to the gas fire which could have been a lot worse, but I wasn't thinking straight at the time. Thankfully the friend quickly ditched the lad as he was not worth the aggro and my friend's family moved away from the area.
Life goes on and the kids are now a lot older and don't remember much about it, if anything thankfully, but reading about this has brought it all flooding back to me.

sounds horrible cagne. we had a close miss with an arsonist on a next door property to where my mum used to live we couldn't get out cos of flames going up the only external door but luckily we got in front room and the fire brigade got there in time to put it out befor it got hold. and another in an empty house on the street I bought my first house. my neighbours house that they rented had flames coming out of the roof as the fire spread through the roof spaces. she got her kids out though and mine was just very smoky.
