just this minute ate one, lol. Now stocking up on a small skinny latte with sweetners where as it used to be a large caramel latte with sugar and chocolate bar.

My 4yr old DD, is a major encouragement in me trying to quit smoking. She said she doesn't want me to get poorly again. Her method for me stopping smoking is simple. When I want one she has told me to 'stop, take a deep breath and think about it'
Can recommend Alan Carrs easy way to stop smoking you can find on Amazon
I stopped a year and a half ago been a smoker all my life and never thought I could quit permanently, but it was easy, read it twice if it doesnt work first time, I did and half way through second reading I just had no desire to smoke and just stopped ...that painless
    Never thought about one since
  • well i have just seriously shocked myself - and the difference between weighing 'full' and 'empty' is bigger than I thought!

Yesterday I weighed 'full' 17st 6/7 (It hovered)
Today I weigh 'empty' 17st 3 (No Hovering)
    November '09 I weighed 'empty': 18st 7.

Means I need to lose just 1st 11lb to be where I want to be ideally in my head (15st 7)
    £4142.49/ £131,795.91 - 3.14% paid off or only £129,608.80 to go!
    Debt free by Xmas 2015: #182 £1955.38/£4435.51 (44.08%)
MFW: Opening Balance: £108,297.91 Original MF Date: June 2042
Current Balance: £106600.27 Estimated MF Date: Dec 2033
Proud to be dealing with my debts

someone on FB has just written that her DD has suggested getting an extra dad for when theirs has to be at work. apparently the woman likes the idea but her DH isn't too enamoured with the idea. made me giggle

    Hello all,

Evenstar - hugs, I know how frustrating it is, but you need to try and stay calm and be patient with DD. In her own time she will ‘wake up’. Just glad that you can be there for your grand daughter.

Babymoo – big hugs, I am so sorry to hear about what happened – saw it in the news over the weekend too. A terrible tragedy, and I hope that Mother and baby make a swift recovery. My thoughts are with you.

Jo – I have a lot of time for Seth Godin, thanks for that link. I think I need to sit near more rich millionaires on my wanderings around Mayfair. However, very happy I have exposed my self to the dribblers.

Mambury – congrats for you friend, great news & well done on the ebay sales.

Mabel – Misty the puppy is adorable, not long left to go on your website by the way. End of the week tops!

NLID – well done on the weight loss

Munchki – It is so nice to have a vision of you putting in your feet up, and even better so lovely that you aren’t far from you son either.

    Elly – Congrats on making £50 :

Em – Sorry to hear about the ducks!

M&P – Well done on your winnings! X

Cagne – well done on making changes!

Those all on the diets, don’t forget to make sure you keep hydrated, thirst and hunger send similar signals to the brain so sometimes when you think that you are hungry you actually thirsty. Another tip is to have a glass of water before you begin your meals, it generally means that you will eat a bit less.

As for me, I have a lot to get done. I am happy as a project that I did went well with the client so I have so more graphics work. I have a lot of late nights coming up over the next few weeks. But, I am determined that I need to succeed. I have completed about 50% of my to do list. And I have promised myself that I will work on the ready made range I was talking about, and I need to get a move on with my commitments which is a very sad red block at the moment!

Also, going to try and dribble in the afternoons, as I have been very naughty lately with my schedule, and I need to whip myself into shape!

    Hugs to All
