...but anyway when i feel a bit low no energy and a bit run down i get my favourite music and play it loud...seems to lift my spirits and make me forget about my aches and pains...and worries....

    take care....:o

Me too but Martin doesn't do music, maybe now is the time to rush out and buy your forst CD!

My tip, go and find a cafe and have a full English, your headache is probably caused by lack of food if you haven't been eating properly. Not very MS or even OS but I think you deserve it.;)

Also Sanatogen (sp)? A tonic/wine drink is very good for when your a little 'low' not sure of the alcohol content so perhaps grab a bottle for when your not on air or two or three glasses more than you should you could be telling us 'what the heck' and to spend spend spend:rotfl:

To get your brain in gear a bit try this:

Touch your nose with your right hand and your right ear with your left hand. Then cross over. (Nose with left hand, left ear with right hand.) Repeat several times.

Rub your belly while patting your head, then change hands.

Stand on one leg then the other without wobbling or holding on to anything.

If it doesn't refresh you then it'll at least give those around you a giggle!
May all your dots fall silently to the ground.

Another one for a quick stretch too - I do sun salutes too! A quick stroll round the block for a change of scenery and some fresh air helps too.

Try drinking some fruit juice or smoothie - although I need coffee too at times, fruit juices are very refreshing.

My pickme up is a bottle of freshly squeezed orange juice - 500ml and down it as quickly as you comfortably can. Loads of vit c, avoids any dehydration sluggishness and if you can get to a supermarket type place pretty cheap.

10 minute brisk walk in the fresh air,
couple of portions of fresh fruit,
    30 minute power nap,
if your tied to the office how about doing something completely not work related for about 30 minutes like play a computer game or phone a friend for a non work chat?

Whatever you do loading up on coffee wont help. It helps in the short term but in the long term it makes you tireder.

Regularly stand up. It is a trick us teachers use when the kiddies eyes start to glaze. By standing up/moving around 20% more oxygen gets to your brain making it easier to concentrate.

Yawning is the bodys way of trying to do the same thing.

Saw you on BBC Breakfast. Considering how tired you said you felt you looked good and full of positive spirit!

Give up the coffee, take heed of the comments above and be well. By looking after yourself, you'll be in a better position to look after/help your Dad.

    Thanks for all you do.
