Tiredness may be due in part to a slight iron deficiency

    Symptoms of anemia

    Often, no symptoms
    Paleness
    Feeling tired
Unusual shortness of breath during exercise
    Fast heartbeat
    Cold hands and feet
    Brittle nails
    Headaches

    Foods high in iron

    Liver and other meats
    Seafood
Dried fruits like apricots, prunes and raisins
    Nuts
    Beans, especially lima beans
Green leafy vegetables, such as spinach and broccoli
    Blackstrap molasses
    Whole grains
Iron-fortified breads and cereals (check the label)

So easiest way to get some iron: tablet, lentil soup, bean and grain salad, juice from juice bar including dark green veg, snack on dried fruit and nuts.

Try to avoid cheering yourself up with sugar - the low after the rush will be worse than usual

Best of luck with your day, hope that the good thoughts help you!

Tutt tutt Martin drinking coffee before going on air! You shouldn't drink caffine - or eat chocolate - as it dries your throat and mouth making it harder to talk

LOTS of water is the way forward.

I regularly work early shifts so appreciate the tiredness.

Just think of the positives - you're doing something thousands of people would love to do but don't get the chance, you're being paid to do something you love etc

Goodness, saw you on the TV this morning, but totally forgot you were human. :p

Get some sleep, and don't follow ALL the advice on here - it would keep you busy till the middle of next week!

    Do you get weekends?

I hope your father gets better.

Now lillibet - I'll try a lot of stuff - but I'm not rubbing white vinegar in.

Feeling much better now - have followed much of the above

    Splashed water on face
    Got a banana
    Stretched
    Had a little walk
Turned the TV on (my version of music)
    Read some nice emails
Got the MSG to text me a kiss (did that one myself, but it helped)

Now feeling ready to face the world - well Radio 2 and then News 24 anyway - and have got my TTD list from friday down to only 30 things - which isn't that bad....!

By the way - one of the things I ticked of this mornign was the publishers edits and cover of MoneySaving Old Style the Book... .which is titled 'Thrifty Ways For Modern Days' and in my hand on the front cover is.... a bottle of white vinegar

    Thanks Old Stylers x

This will perk you up. Cheese sandwich pudding, like a bread and butter pud but make cheese sarnies and layer in a dish, pour on the egg/milk mixture, add seasoning you like and cover with a sprinkle more cheese, then bake it in the oven. Always worked when I was a teenager with 'growing pains'.
Divide your to do list up into categories on a sheet of paper, say in three so you can fold the paper over, then you only ever need to look at a third of it at a time. :) Mine is divided into day-to-day household stuff, business and voluntary work.
