I know I go way over my vitamin A just with my morning fruit smoothie. It's why i don't take a multivitamin - I think i'd get vitamin A poisoning!

9 grams of carrot!

I just went and cut a 9g piece of carrot to see how big it was. my carrot was 2cm in diameter, and I needed 1 1cm slice to equal 9 grams.

I just had a look on nutrition data and they said 9 grams of cooked carrot would give 39% of vitamin A. That's still lots for such a tiny amount but definitely different.

I'm happy to post sources and maths if that would help so people can check. I got mr weezl to check it but he is also tired brain

does nutrition data do uk rda or american rda?

cos american rda is higher.
