I use wordpad and hand code boring old html. I'm not great at it, having come from a design background, not a technical one.

Then just boring old wordpad again for the CSS although I am not great at CSS yet and regularly get help from my dad.

I have designed a few sites in flash- which I'm stronger at, with animation:). I used to use dreamweaver but don't find it wysiwyg enough :)

Adobe photoshop CS4 for my banners, photo enhancement, divs etc.

(Arty it sounds bad to be sick at something! Is Mr Arty not pleased?!)

Ooooh is mr arty going to look at the code?

Mr Weezl is intrigued about what parts he likes, ie what appeals to a male, but you don't have to ask him if he is busy!

Ooooh is mr arty going to look at the code?

Mr Weezl is intrigued about what parts he likes, ie what appeals to a male, but you don't have to ask him if he is busy!

He is interested in the coding because he has never done HTML or anything on the web before and can only do things like C and python, he really likes programming so now we are Wiki-ing Cascading Style Sheets (hes such a geek:o)

RE. male version of the website: He particularity likes the pop-up pictures and the list sorting aspect for two reasons, firstly it looks like it is hard to code and therefore impressive in his opinion. Secondly he thinks it is good webdesign as it makes reading a list of recipes alot easier and less time consuming.

People are put off by websites with lots of text and you have got that by adding visuals into the mix. He thinks it looks neat, professional, and logical which is important for this type of website.

ETA: Just looked at the code, wowie, impressive stuff!!!!

ETA2: Sorry to take it off topic with code talk-he was just so impressed that I thought after today you may like to hear it rather than me agreeing with mr arty but not telling you IYSWIM??
