Maybe I've missed it but what happens to the seeds from the butternut squash?

OK, took a while but I've found the problem with the nutrition calcs.

I put a temp calc in to show any other probs which helped to track it down. There were 2 probs.

    1. The amount of carbs for sr flour had been removed / not entered

    2. The amount of carbs for rice were incorrect. mySupermarket didn't have carbs on SP rice, so I checked another type and failed to notice that it was for boiled rice, not raw

Only problem now is that the nutrition entries are wrong, so I'm just changing them and will then whizz it over

My aim was to toast them and grind them up into the nut seed butter, as the outer husks are edible and will add extra fibre calcium and something else that eludes me.

But by the time I'd thought to post it in the test month, frankie had made her butter and allegra had planted the seeds! So I kept well buttoned!:o

(if anyone is ever willing to test this tho I'd be very grateful as it adds more goodness into shirl's diet :))

:D I had actually kept most of them, you know, in case you wanted me to do something clever with them. I only planted 4.... :p (And two of them have germinated and are doing rather well).

Does anyone have plans to make a batch of loaves and also has the following ingredients in: orange zest, golden syrup, fresh ginger, garam masala

Oh! I wish I'd asked! DH saw me looking all forlorn when I read it, and thought I looked so troubled he even suggested "shall I post and just ask her to wash the dirt off!" :rotfl:

    He should have done :rotfl:

I am making a batch of loaves either tonight or tomorrow morning, and have golden syrup, oranges to be zested, and garam. No fresh ginger though.

I've done them as snacks before - Alice would eat them all in one sitting if I let her. If you just want a general test of putting them in a nut butter I could do it but not if it would have to be with peanuts. I just thought it seemed a bit silly to buy pumpkin seeds and then throw away the butternut squash seeds.
