Just poaching it like I would for stock. I quartered the bird (legs off, breasts removed) and will first bring cold water and the bird to the boil, then drain that water and add freshly boiled water. Then simmer for about 2 hours? With some onion quarters? That ok?

Oh yeah, I have 1 complaint, sorry. Your bubble and squeak isn't proper bubble and squeak cos it's got no cabbage! Plus, it's bubble and squeak (with no cabbage) fritters :p That's the poor Scot coming out in me! lol! I was raised on bubble and squeak with corned beef!

Tis not a title it needs, but respect. Respect of the great Scots tradition and heritage of having everything with cabbage!

Why do you think these hills and glens are so windy?

Were you meaning having the 5 a day listed in the recipe table? I'm not sure it would be best suited there... (presumably why you're a bit hesitant about it?)

If you do decide to put the portion info somewhere I'd put it with each appropriate recipe with any nutritional info you add about the recipe eg cals, protein etc (if they are something you plan to add at some point).

Don't worry if you don't use the info Weezl. :p

Weezl your pictures of all the food are very, very attractive - they make me drool! I'm working my way through a few of the veggie and vegan recipes but as I live alone I've been cooking the whole batch and freezing the other 3 portions, but I only have so much room in my freezer so testing has been going rather slowly! :rotfl:

Question... Why when you order the recipe table by diet does the veggie burger sit with the meat stuff rather than the vegan items (despite saying vegan)?

I presume the newer "vegan recipes being tested" will be added fully to the recipe table -currently they don't show up when you order the table by diet etc.

Also where to you get jars of roasted red peppers without it costing £3.50 a jar? Is this another Asda only thing? I think is cheaper for me to roast fresh or frozen ones myself! :rotfl:

Been away for a few day and now I have over 30 pages to read and the website to catch up on. Everybody has been so busy.
