kezlou, thanks for mentioning the BNS. Is that what we are supposed to be serving with the omelette?

ooooh heck! Sorry Poohbear, the BNS is in the omelette and you've got 250g potatoes and 80g carrots each to serve with it. Potatoes either as wedges with 30ml oil each or served with an oil and vinegar dressing or the egg free mayo :)

    HTH

Poohbear I just went to check and it is there in the recipe at the usual place but right down at the bottom IYSWIM? Just before the comments part...

PS if anyone is like me and likes the text to be a bit bigger for the recipes, press 'Ctrl' and '+' at the same time and the writing will grow. You can enlarge it as many times as you like :)

I found mine also to taste like mushed up beans really nice but def could be more spicy for me

Weezl - I'm about to hit the kitchen to make my tea. Do you want me to test something eg the scones?

Thanks Weezl, I think that's my conclusion too. The mix did need more oil tho and the tip of rolling out between greaseproof paper worked fantastically well.

We all had the tart, tonight, together with potato salad and it was a huge hit. So it was worth all the effort. Think I'll try to find a smaller dish though.

    Just for information.

OK, dinner all done and eaten. When presented with his, DH said "Ooh, this looks nice." When he'd finished he said "That was lovely darling." I think it was a hit!
We often have Spanish omelette, but usually I put the potato in it and have salad on the side. This way it seemed a lot more substantial. I had rather less than 250g of potato wedges and DH had rather more - probably 200 for me and 300 for him, and we're both pretty full.
I took photos, but have no idea how to put them on here.

We also had a glass of rose with it. Sorry Weezl :o
