    Hi de lurking again,

The option 1 link still doesn't work on all pages.
    Planners > Option One > Month 1 > Recipes

Also I never found a reply to why the garam masala had been removed from the carrot cake so can anyone enlighten me?

    Many thanks

The reason I ask is that I took samples into school to show off that I'd actually baked a 'cake' and had lots of requests for the recipe. Intended to just give link to the site but now the recipe has changed!

  • Morning!

I'll do the test in a bit to see what I am, did it years ago but have no recollection.

We had the bacon and onion pudding last night which everyone liked. I wasn't that thrilled, it didnt really look like the pic, but if they all scarf it down and it only costs pennies to make then I'm happy.

Quesadillas tonight (HM tortillas with minimal filling "fried" in a heavy based fying pan). Very MS and nom.

If you decide you would like a comments section for the site, as well as a contact form, which would allow space for people to report on their experiences, I would be prepared to moderate it for a trial month if you like. You could use the type where the comment has to be approved by a mod before being posted to avoid trolls. I used to moderate a bike forum, way back when.

If not, when Sian wants a break from the contact us form I'm happy to do a few weeks of that too.

There was something else I wanted to mention but it now escapes me. Will go and collect DS2 from his sleep over and see if it comes back to me.

Thank you Weezl, if only it were true !
I haven't got any particular nutritional expertise, although am very interested. Our "factoids" and lesson plans were designed by teachers and are aimed at primary school children in year 6. They look at something, what it does in the body, and where it is found. Is this the kind of thing you wanted, although obviously not aimed at an 11 year old child? Or am I barking up the wrong tree entirely? Or am I just barking? :p
Enjoy your steak. OH wanted that but I went to town with no purse...:o

Mussells are very high in iron: 8.44 mg per 100g.

can I send you the spreadsheet he wanted using for his ease, you populate your bits and I'll populate the others?

Sorry you were expecting more nutrition, had I not got as far as you'd hoped with that one? I didn't mean to make an enormous task for you Lesley, but am very grateful to you for doing it :)

the nutritiony bits you were putting in were nearly all there, it was the huge auto calc part that I had to put in, I forgot that we had done it on the vegan planner, not this one

sure, send me the sheet you would like populating, it shouldn't take very long to transfer the data over

excellent :) so that's a thumbs up for him then :)

Brilliant! Thank you! If you notice we haven't made anything very clear for shirl, do holler, for example I realised today I haven't said about the lemon cordial or the cups of tea anywhere yet-must remedy asap! :o

How much did your shirley shop cost you?

    Any downsides yet?

What have you done about DS not being fond of the applecurd and porridge?

Look forward to hearing more from you :A

No downsides for far :) Somethings haven't been 100% clear but with a bit of trust in the plan and common sense it's been fine

He's been having toast and a glass of milk instead! Not sure it's a worthy substitue so suggestions welcome.

My first shop was last week and I did a weekly shop (I used the first weeks shopping list posted on here a little while ago) and it came to £38 but that did include about £8 off plan stuff.

I am an ENTP I only know because it was company procedure to take the test!

total sugars ie fructose and maltose included, or added sucrose? :)

Total sugars (cos the pancreas doesn't know the difference between a teaspoon of white sugar and a wedge of orange).
