:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I do like colour but dont want to add too much into the site as I think it looks very hmmm...sophisticated at the moment.

ok lets have a little look at bean pate on the front page and then reverse it, but we'll see what we like best...

The bean pate looks much better on the page IMO

ETA: Mr arty says the 'red cake' looks better as it looks yummyer' so each to their own I suppose. What do u think??

we can't please all of the people all of the time!

Is there an image on the site ATM that's yummy for Mr arty, and more colourful for you arty?

Is yours a Mac or a PC?

I'm on 800x600 (no laughing at the back there! :D ) and love the green (nuts?) background, makes me think of "fresh" and "healthy".

Definitely DON'T go for red, red is DANGER! and FIRE! and such other warnings, you want Shirley to feel 'at home' rather than 'run for your life!'.

    P.C

marmalade and HM pizza are the only two we can agree on. Mr arty really really likes the original though. (I am being forced to type that!!)

Fair enough about red, I do like the green I personally just think we may need a bit more excitement about the site?? But I'm just not sure about how to do that?

I preferred the cake too :o (can someone tell me what recipe that is please, so I know what I'm aiming for as I bake?)

OOh, and with that thought - you need "alt-text" with your pics - when you hover over a pic it should have a title/caption appear near the mouse. This, I believe, is for disabled users navigating the site, plus people who don't have flash/graphics enabled (or have them deliberately DISabled). HTH :)
