    http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Does_colors_make_you_hungry

Knew I had read something about this somewhere :)

Though are we trying to make people feel hungry or empowered, not sure what colour is for empowerment...

I do know (from my time in sales and retail) that BLUE is calming and most likely to get people to buy things. Not sure that's any help at all to you :rotfl:

So if instead of 'welcome, it said that? How would that be?

Please don't be sorry, it's a nice site now and we're making it better, I'm not taking any of this to mean it's been rubbish!:)

Not instead of 'Welcome' I think it should be in the banner underneath it wont cost you an arm and keg. As long as you dont feel all your hours have been wasted thats ok:)

    well! aren't folk different :)

d'you know rainbow, that garlic image is one of my favourite photos I've ever taken, how funny!

Do please keep all the ideas coming :)

*I* like it - just not sure it's rightful place is in the main banner, IYSWIM? Just trying to think like Shirley, who might not be on speaking terms with most fresh produce...

I'm holding off an Ikea trip that DH is keen to do tho, because this is so helpful, but would you mind reconvening for an online design development meeting in about an hour and a half?
:rotfl: Just as you posted this, I was walking into IKEA!
OOh, and with that thought - you need "alt-text" with your pics - when you hover over a pic it should have a title/caption appear near the mouse. This, I believe, is for disabled users navigating the site, plus people who don't have flash/graphics enabled (or have them deliberately DISabled). HTH :)
Alt-text should also help with search engine rankings.

have you got the linkie for the info about lard that you posted on your blog?

You said in it I think that you'd done some research (I can't find your blog so easily noe it's not your MSE homepage :o I forgot to bookmark it before it changed to paperbaby :))
Did I? I'm not sure I did post much information on my blog (apart from that it's good for greasing your tins and is cheap) but I think I may have posted some links on here a while ago when you asked me about the idea saturated fat intake. Haven't got time to look around now but will try to find what info I have tomorrow. Must change my homepage back to my blog now. (But in the mean time, if you were to google "Sinner Saved" you'd prbably find it.)
