Weezl and friends Phase 2 -giving it a whirl for Shirl! Testing meal plan for a month

planner 2, we were debating the point of it... What if it allows a fair bit more tea than #1, but also keep in a bit of cheese for those who don't want to be utterly vegan?
worth it?
it seems then to satisfy 3 groups: those for whom tea is a non-negotiable, those who don't like battery eggs, those who are happy to be vegetarian but don't feel veganism would be as protein rich. Perhaps mr arty and !!!!!! might be in this category. Also me, due to my coffee addiction:ograndma247 wrote: »I love pumpkin pie. I should add that I realise it is possible to do a table on the computer but that was the easiest way of posting it on MSE.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

It is in the oven now, I will let you know how it turns out. I guess it is still quite important when testing the month 1 plan to deal with real life affecting Shirl eg someone eating the oranges!!
I would love pumpkin pie but as no one else eats it I would have to eat it all myself!!
Lunchtime pate has been cooked and some eaten by DH for lunch. He enjoyed it. I wasn't so sure as I know it was pigs liver and not some other delicacy but the true test will be with DS2 and DS3 tonight.
ETA arty I just read what happened to you yesterday. I hope you have recovered from your ordeal.Look forward to your verdict on the cake.
Also, re: hiding the oats in stuff, have you tried the scones? If you added an egg from your girls, they'd rise even more than the ones I've posted at the usual place
Susan, thanks for the diagram, that's a great way of representing it (I knew in your head it would be a spreadsheet)
Lesley, are you able to do a chat messenger liaison about the vegan spreadsheet?:)

PB I totally agree it's good to post how shirley will cope if the oranges get eatenLook forward to your verdict on the cake.

Brilliant idea about adding the egg from my girls. I was going to phone DS2 at work and ask him if he liked scones but didn't like to in case anyone there was listening in.:oMum phoning him. I will make some tomorrow when the oven is on as I will be making my bacon and onion pudding.
The carrot cake is lovely and light. It really isn't possible to tell that it is missing the oranges and the addition of ready brek isn't obvious to me.
It was so good DD's dog took three bites out of it while it was cooling on the rack.
DS2 has just tested the lunchtime pate and says it is nice. He was trying to think of constructive criticism but can't think of any. That means it is a winner here.
My savoury biscuits are so good he is putting pate on now as a post work snack.
susan I love your chart. I have no idea how to get something like that onto here so I am doubly impressed,

I'm thinking I probably don't need testers for the whole of the 2nd and 3rd months as I think the glitches will be visible from this month's trial, (like the fresh veg!)
So I wondered if I could post some recipe titles and people could post if they fancy trying them?
Or do people think there's value in doing the whole thing together?
red pepper houmous
pasta salad
lentil pate
tomato olive pie
veggie burgers
pasta funghi
coconut rice pudding

onion tarte tatin
pasta con vegetate rusticana
calzone
sweetcorn fritters
special fried rice with cashews and bean sprouts
nut roast with bubble and squeak and onion gravy
to name but a few, what are folk up for?
