Still fighting with the gas bottle, might have to resort to phoning OH in a mo as we are losing light!!!!!
  • Hugs Dusty, Soappie is right and i do the same thing. During the incident you go into coping mode and just get on with it. It's afterwards that it all catches up with you! Take care of yourself as well as DS3.

Its true and all the carp hits you after the event.
Sorry if my spelling's dodgy, been on a land rover forum talking discoverys and they speek a different langueedge over theyre.

Well done on being strong on the phone, the x stitch kit and the washing basket. Now, do you REALLY need those running shoes? Is there something you can find on Amazon that will cost £10 only?

Need them? Probably as I don't have any usable ones at the moment. Could live with out them for a couple more weeks? Yeap, more than likely as the children are home I'm only walking with them for the next week. I might make a mayonnaise cake, that may suffice for a while ;)

Dusty - you deserve tomorrow off. You never really know how something like that affects you until you stop and look around and then it hits you. x

suep - I did exactly the same!

Now I'm feeling all broody again!

dusty - agree with soappie, it's probably the effects of stress kicking in. I remember the week after I got back home with DS1, I couldn't stop crying for about three days. Hugs.

I think you must be me.....I was just about to say exactly the same thing...DD2 was in hospital for 5 days 18 months ago and it was after she got out that I cried for about 3 days too. Totally agree that its the adrenaline come down. They need you to be strong while its all going on then when you know their OK you fall apart for a bit. Totally understandable. Lots of hugs coming you're way Dusty.

My W/D part has come in today so I need to pick it up tomorrow then take the thing apart and replace the part. If it works it will have cost me £22.95 rather than paying for an engineer to come and do it. The part is £12 cheaper in a shop 10 minutes away than I could find it anywhere else online!:money:

Had a lovely walk with the girls after tea so that's my HHE for the day.
