I was stuck in all day today as my car was in for an MOT so I caught up on the few remaining jobs that I hadnt finished over the last 2 days and did all 3 levels today plus my dailies and 1/2 hour weeding in the garden.
I'm aching all over now and will regret doing so much by tomorrow but Im glad I did it all.
    So

    Tuesday - Done
    Wednesday - Done
    Thursday - Done :D

pigpen - Ah, no, I don't do snooping! And there's a miniscule chance I'd be looking on any threads about pregnancy and health - I don't feel quite so left out now! I'm still really, really thrilled for you both.

soappie - I thought exactly the same as dusty about your hairdresser!

dusty - agree with soappie, it's probably the effects of stress kicking in. I remember the week after I got back home with DS1, I couldn't stop crying for about three days. Hugs.

Soappie: Whilst working as a civilian consultant in a armed forces environment I developed strong diplomatic and influencing skills. The initial approach of wacking them in the dingles with a shovel was shown to be effective in the short term but proved detrimental to future working relationships. I instead forged strong personal relationships throughout the business which allowed me to quickly build credibility and recognition for the value of my opinion.

    Pigpen and family: congratulations
    Hugs for Dusty
Serena you just aren't nosey enough! It was on other threads rather than on facebook so don't feel left out. I spotted it as a last post on the families thread rather than any specific snooping!
Greenbee - the hens of my childhood are still in my parents freezer allegedly. I used to snivel into every chicken casserole and say 'Is this (sniff) Henny (sniff) or Penny (Sniff)?

A busy day in the garden, lots of weeding and planting plus I painted the chicken shed extension and the swing seat a fetching shade of faded blue/green.

SS1 has returned and cleaned out the sick bucket of doom .

As predicted I have been stiffed with a full house tomorrow and an absent DH so I will be forced to give the meet a miss as SS1 and 2 cannot be left on their own together without fighting and I refuse to listen to them bicker all the way to Meadowhall and back . Better luck next time.

    Congratulations Pigpen :j:T

Sorry I stupidly did my daily post of jobs and then decided to catch up on the days posts so I've only just noticed this :o

    .

To demonstrate I have tact, diplomacy and honesty rather than bask big-headedly in misconceptions about my status I'll explain all about my hairdresser.

He is a mobile hairdresser (in that he visits people in their homes). About a year ago, he and his boyfriend decided they would quite like to move to Tenerife temporarily with a view to moving there permanently if they liked the lifestyle.

So they let out their house here, rented an apartment over there and, to keep guaranteed money coming in, he kept on a few select clientele (such as me and NN) and he flies back for a couple of weeks every month or so, stays with his Mum and does a whistle stop tour of perming, cutting, blow drying and colouring, grabs the cash and then flies back again.

Sounds so much less grand when fully explained!

Hex, I agree with Serena, that's brilliant! I may have to work on a combination of that and Valli's.

Or I could just go down the route that "well, I have many examples of how I displayed an extraordinary amount of tact and diplomacy when working as a mere female in the testosterone fuelled military working environment but if I told you just how I'd have to shoot you..."

Evening, LO is in bed and i'm relaxing:D

Hugs Dusty, Soappie is right and i do the same thing. During the incident you go into coping mode and just get on with it. It's afterwards that it all catches up with you! Take care of yourself as well as DS3:A

Hex - glad the vomit got cleared up eventually:eek: Bet that will make him think twice in the future.
