Dh has rung to say his mate is coming home with him after work to pick a tv up so I've had to do a quick crisis clean downstairs. Realised that DH used my brush outside at the weekend as the kids had broke the yard brush and I haven't replaced it yet so I had to brush the kitchen floor on my hands and knees then mop it as there was black paint all over it from the kids painting this morning. I still can't get into bed so I'd better go back upstairs!

    Afternoon all,
Dora & Jinky - must be something in the water! I woke up with a migraine this morning & am only just starting to feel human again. Was supposed to be taking DD shopping so I'm disappointed that I've let her down. She was okay though, made me cuppas all morning! :A Hope you both feel better soon.

Here's my list: have done nowt though  It'll be difficult to do most of this as my bedroom is full of stuff from DDs room while we're decorating.

Regarding recent revelations, this thread is still a fab place to be, with lots of genuine friendship & support (& nuttiness of course!) for those that need it. So thank you for that :T

Well.. if we are doing revelations.........

Mudders was right all along ... I am a man!! Triker can vouch for it! lol

See - and you all laughed when I told you!!! :D:rotfl:
Hello ladies - I desperately need help!!!!

Male neutered cat (who has been turned into a Davy Crockett hat by DH) has SPRAYED all over the curtains and oilcloth tablecloth (the back - typical). I need to get rid of the smell to stop him repeating at the same spot - does anyone know what gets rid of it? The curtains are currently soaking in the bath (brand new - typical!).

I have rung the vet, and have some things to try to stop the behaviour, but unless I can get rid of the smell, he will always return to it!

    Thanks ladies!

    Lilo

Our old diabetic man (cat not person) used to pee everywhere. We ended up buying a spray from the vets. It cost about a tenner and the MSE way is probably the biological washing powder. He peed everywhere....beds, carpets, clothes but we do miss him! Good luck!

Dusty - how's your son doing? Hope he's ok.

DS just gone off for a sleepover then we're off for our first trip in the caravan tomorrow. Everything in conservatory that we need to take and up to date with washing etc.

DD very moody / snappy at the moment. Think it's hormones (she'll be 11 next week). I'm just wondering if they're a limit to how long I can shut her in the understairs cupboard - is 5 years too long? (incase anyone thinks I'm serious I can promise that I've not locked her in any cupboard but, believe me, it's tempting!):D.

I've booked stripes and me in for three one to one lessons to stop her pulling on the lead. I'm really trying everything but she's made my wrist sore again by trying to pull me so much in the last few weeks. Fingers crossed xx
