I also believe it does come down to individual cases like this.. 'oh she's pretty'.. 'they have too nice a house'.. Not individual policies like it should (not that I think any one is different to another just worded marginally different) The only thing every politician is interested in is the pay packet and themselves and what they canscrew from the system which is archaic and highly flawed.. and in the name of democracy we put the individuals there who will gain the lions share while the rest of us get screwed over time and again.. it makes no odds who is sitting with their hand onthe big red button the bottom line is.. we, as the great unwashed will be worse off in one area or another.. High tax, high unemployment, crappy education, even crappier health care provision.. and their get out is.. well YOU put us here!

Those women who died for us to be able to vote.. would be totally ashamed if they saw where we are today.. this is not the system they foresaw.

Anyway.. the fact I CAN have a say inevitably means that I WILL.. not that it will make one iota of difference living here.. it is the areas that are borderline that are the ones which will make a difference.. not the staunchly one way or the other areas.. I'd expect a 5 year old to be able to colour a map in the right colour for half the country!
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^
    Wot she said!
I have voted in every election since I was eligible and always will - however I do not look forward to every news bulletin for the next four weeks being dominated by politicians trying to con us into believing what they say.

On a more important note :p do we have any CSI fans here? Just wondered if anyone watched CSI Vegas last night - I am trying to decide if the actress playing Catherine had been at the botox.
OK flying - off to find a list.

Why does that always happen, the nights I keep up, nothing much happens, the nights I turn my back you go all shocking and political on me :D, I only came for today's list and a quick catch up and I'm still here an hour and a half later . That's knocked my schedule for six!

Hugs for Dusty's DS, hope he has a better day today. More hugs for anyone else who needs them and big thanks for all your wonderful winsome and supportive flylady ways :T:A.

And who in their right mind put the soap box in my corner?! lol

Well apparently there are lots of mad frogs, caffeine addicts, some missing marbles and an awful lot of book worms so maybe some of those pushed it your way soapbox.gif ?

Going to go in the shower and get dressed then I must work, before flying, enjoying a visit from a RL flylady pal (she's a lurker) and going to the pics to see Nanny McPhee.

    See you later
