It's ok toots is fine. I have just spoken to her :)

She has been sat out in the garden enjoying the sunshine and chilling :D After the busy weekend last week and a busy week this week she has been taking it easy for the last couple of days. She sounded in good form and is enjoying some well earned me time.

  • Hurrah! Managed to get all the family's clothes sorted through, some to charity shop, some to store in attic. Loads of space freed up in cupboards.

Afternoon  I've been doing loads of gardening :j I've warned DH about this, and told him that I'm liable to cry if he isn;t impressed when he gets back :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I found some HG cherries in the freezer, so was making them into jam, when some old neighbours (who moved away about 3 years ago to deepesr Surrey, so we don;t get to see them) turned up at the door with their 2yo :T Apparently he'd told DH that they'd be in the area, but DH didn't pass on the message *roll eyes smile* We sat in the garden and ate HM chocolate cake (happened to be in the tin :D ) and drank tea. DD 16yo and DS 15yo were very impressed as the 2yo called them "that lady" and "that man" :rotfl:

I'm making Jamie's turkey and leek pie for tea, with apple and bramble crisp :)
