Oil in car topped up... hoping it hasn't suffered too much from running lowthe light's never come on before.
Cake made and cooling. _Present located and wrapped. Friend I'm supposed to be walking with keeps moving start time later and later (started by suggesting 1.30, now we're at 3pm - she's going to find it's a pretty short walk as I need to get over to see my SIL at a sensible time. Still, it gives me more time to either a. fly or b. fiddle around with the cake (which one do you think is most likely!
ETA - soappie - unfortunately it's what !!!!!es (sorry... female dogs ) do. They think it makes them smell deliciously attractive. So maybe get a dog next time. Tomato ketchup should help get the smell out. Unfortunately the smell of the shampoo means she's quite likely to want to go and roll again to get rid of the nasty clean smell

I used to use the word "flid" until someone pointed out to me it referred to victims of Thalidomide. I felt terrible then. I had no idea.
Decluttered lunch, wm on, off to do DD2's clothes. She was enigmatic when I asked her to come and help me...

Argh there was a travel cot there too with a changing section in it....perhaps I shouldn't have told you that!!
I thought of you but then thought, 'she wouldn't need a a travel cot she'd need a normal cot'. Not much baby stuff really, I did have a shufty but it was a bit thin on the ground, mainly toys for toddlers and up, clothes and household goods today. Hardly any kitchen stuff, I was on the hunt for a cast iron pan but no joy.:(
Before Greenbee says anything, its a compulsion, there's worse compulsions to have that an obsession with cast iron pans/casseroles you know!!:p And yes I know I have enough but some lonely ones might need rehoming....:D
It's picking up there though and it looks like it'll get more busy and popular as the weeks roll by, its the one I saw you and your Mum at last year, always worth a visit as it starts later.
I'll now keep my eye's out for you, now I know what your looking for. xxDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Hello everyone, thanks for the welcome and the pm. I will try my best to keep up.
I have been reading the thread from the beggining to try and get to know you all a bit and you all seem very close and very supportive of each other. I hope I can fit in with you (I'm sure I will on the alcohol front:o). You can't half gab though:rotfl:
Is everyone pregnant on here:eek: I can promise that will NOT be happening to me. Pigpen OMG 9 kids!!! Do you not have a television:rotfl:
I didn't get any ironing done but did empty out DD's playhouse and set her on washing it all while I hoovered it out. I have never seen such big spiders, they picked me up and threw me out twice:D
Might get round to ironing soon or I may just have a coffee and not do anything. It will still be there tomorrow.Sealed pot member 954:D

I hadn't heard that name in years and years. We have a rule in our house - if you don't know what the word means you can't use it - go easy on yourself - easy mistake to make if you were unaware of its meaning
