Easter Monday DONE - Can I have a star, please, toots!

Didn't think I'd ever get to write this! It's my first ever star and it's embarassing to think about how long it's taken me (and it wasn't really a 'proper' list), but I'm pleased, nevertheless. DS2 asks if it could be 'our' star, because he just 'helped' me mop.

OK, best not rest on my laurels now.

2 weeks ago I bid for a two-storey playhouse for DS2. I was outbid, but it went back on last week because the buyer hadn't contacted the seller re collection. I've been watching the auction all week and had planned on bidding just before it ended at tea-time today.
Last night I checked it again, and it came up as 'auction ended', but without the final price. I've sent a message to the seller and I've also texted him,as I still have his number from arranging to look at the house. No replies so far.
Do you have any idea what's going on? I really wanted that house, because most two-storey ones are too wide for the space we have, or they are not in our area. I could afford a single storey one new, but DS2 has really got his heart set on having an 'upstairs'.

  • Sorry MrsChaos I'm no help on ebay.

Just had the most massive bingbag dance, sorted out all my clothes, I have them in three sizes, and am having trouble fitting the biggest at the mo, grrr.

Freed up two drawers and made a load more openable again. Next job is DD2's clothes.

Myself and DD1 have just got back from doing a car boot where we got rid of loads of clutter and made over £50 :j

I got a electric steamer for £2.00 a Tefal one which I'll try out later.
OH has been busy putting the curtain rails and curtains up which looks lovely.

Off to get some veg and meat from a shop and then collapse I think.

Mrs Chaos - had anybody bid on it? If not he may have been contacted with a buy-it-now price and added that then the auction will end when somebody used the BIN

Had my pint of blood out of DS1 - got him to do all the jobs I hate doing. Carrot planter now in place and filled - it is an old iron water tank form the loft filled with polystyrene I've been collecting from packaging, old crocks, some compost bags to line and the compost from the compost bin - have some free carrot seeds too - very moneysaving! Let's hope it works

Just going to put the washing on the line and have lunch.

I need another HH out in the front garden before I take DS3 to this party which I need to stay at due to his arm but I can't be mean and say you can't go as he has looked forward to it all week and when he broke his arm it was what he was stressing about most missing the party. I hate kids parties so really don't want to be at somebody elese. Ho Hum.

    Oh dear.

    BB is in deep doo-doos.

DD took her for a run over the golf links and she found something seriously large and quite evil to roll in. DD came back absolutely livid via the back garden gate rather than the front door because of the mess she was in.

So, BB has been soaped down then had the garden hose turned on her (which she hates!). She is now banished to the kitchen and living room until she's completely dried.

Anyone know how to stop this? DD is saying she daren't let her off the lead anymore.
