Yep you sure can
In fact I don't think there isn't much in the way of cooked meals I haven't frozen :rotfl:I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Wow, that is fantastic that you got a load of veg from your neighbour, for free too! Why not invite him over for supper some time, now you have loads of meat and veg? I am sure he would appreciate the thought if he lives alone, as you say.
I would imagine that amount of food should mostly last you out the month, with a few additions of pasta/rice etc, especially if you remember to ration the more expensive things (like meat and eggs) and bulk out with cheaper food such as carbs and veg. Your meat will last ages in the freezer, and eggs last for ages past their 'best before' date too.Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0 -

Hopefully this will be the start of a good thing - if you neighbour is producing too much veg, now he knows you appreciate it, maybe you can do a deal with him - either to buy his excess (saves you going shopping, and would probably be cheaper), or to barter it for individual portions of meals you've cooked from it and/or a regular invitation to eat round at yours.0
