ASDA complaint.......

I think everyone is just going round in circles now. Lets just leave the OP to get a response from Asda and if she wants any further advice or wants to let us know what the outcome is then that would be great.
Who on earth cares what the labels say. If it was clear then you wouldnt be able to post 121 posts discussing the use of "any" or mixing and matching....:A0 -

Surely that is the whole post. We all care what the label says as that is the sticking point of the thread. Only people who have seen the labels can say if it is clear or not that is why questions are asked.
I saw a label in Tesco today for a buy one get one free offer and it listed underneath what was included, but I think that it did it because the offer included a lot of stuff that was totally different, eg wraps and chocolate buns.If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550 -
I was just making the point that we are wasting our time discussing the ins and outs of exactly what the label said. In this case the OP didnt get the correct message from them so whatever they said, ASDA are not doing their job, not making things clear enough and should do better. The labels at ASDA are clearly inconsistent, lack detail and are very confusing.:A0

I have worked in supermarket cutomers sevice for nearly 10 years and all I can say is VILE customer:mad: people like this complainer seem to think it is ok to treat staff (who are only doing their jobs) like a piece of worthless rubbish. I also notice she had her mother with her. Did they both starting getting verbal? 2 against 1 a very common form of attack by customers. Did the complainer not think of checking the offer before purchasing?
Funny, I never mentioned I had my mum with me???
To answer your questions "sam" - I never got verbal, my mum never got verbal.
We never tag-teamed up with an "attack"
My mum was standing with the trolley, nearby, and only came over to stand beside me when previously mentioned (and confirmed by a fellow employee, stan, ) the patrionising meat manager began being, well patrionsing.
Yes I did check the offer before i purchased. I thought the red sticker stating ANY 2 for £4 was a great deal so i purchased.
Further, I have received an email from asda head office apologising - which was appreciated.
And also, yesterday, received a personal letter of apology from the manager of the Perth store with a gift card for a refund of the products.
Also greatly appreciated.
Can I reiterate again, I have appreciated all help and comments on here.
I appreciate the fact that this is an open forum, and of course expect that some people will troll and use any topics like this to call me for anything.
Initially I came on here for advice and also to vent some anger at the way I was spoken to. I have since had my eyes opened by some of the replies, but as stated, as this is an open forum this must be expected.
People have made personal judgement calls on me, based on how the wording of an email I sent to a retailers head office. But hey ho!
Thank you for all help and advice, and here's hoping that I never have the misfortune to get mistaken with offers again.
Thank you
