Doesn't Walmart practice the *customer is always* philosophy?

Impossible with some of the people on here!

Maybe the customer totally lost it and wouldn't listen to either reason or the explanation. The other day I saw a group of five women arguing with one man in our local Tesco about an offer for 2 for £25 on spirits. Their argument was that it didn't say that Absolute Vanilla wasn't included in the offer, the sign said Absolute Vodka. The man tried explaining that only the things listed were included whereas they said it should list stuff that wasn't. What do some people expect a full list of everything not on offer. In the end he just gave up and walked away leaving them arguing between themselves.

They also confuse the point when they recently done the 4 for £3 promotion as they let you mix and match anything across the store which had the 3 fo £4 sticker on it, so they really need a policy which makes it clear what each deal clearly means.

I have never shopped at ASDA but surely if a sign says "Mix and Match" it implies that they do not have to be the same item, same for the meat "Any 3 for £10" implies they do not have to be the same whereas "2 for £4" does not carry the same implied meaning.

I will just add I've seen these promotions, none say "mix and match" none say "any".
  • Why are the aisles so wide in Asda?

So the fat CHAVs can get around each other when coming head on!

The promotions I was refering to were the ones the op had tried to mix. Neither of them say "any" or "mix and match".

That was the point I was making, if it didn't say "any" or "mix and match" then I would presume it was 2 of the same things.
