No Buying Toiletries in April Challenge!

the night time filling up fairies have definately been round - still have not finished this bottle of John Freida shampoo - i'm starting to think i'm losing the plot with it - it's been going strong for 3 months now, and because I can see how much is in it (see through bottle) it's almost teasing me! HOPEFULLY will be used up tomorrow, but have plenty more in the stash (I'd say this bottle is very MSE from one point of view I guess
)
On another note, I've been searching high and low for a new body butter......but I do believe I have none left! I've been using St Ives Collagen Elastin moisturiser the past couple of days and I have to say that I don't like it - I am a true convert to body butters now. Even noticed my dad using one the other day (very manly man!) that I had given to my mum - his excuse was that it 'soothes the itchy skin' he gets sometimes lol. Soooo I may have to have permission to take advantage of the next BS BB glitch! (not this one thats on now as I do want to finish this Collagen Elastin with no temptations to stray!)
One of my many foundations is also on the way out - if used every day this week I should be able to switch back to another one in time to beautify myself for my weekend in Wales this BH!
Dying my hair tonight so will use up a colour from my stash, and also fake tanning - my vita liberata (total convert - no fake tan smell AND has a guide colour) has a couple of full body applications left in it, but I will have to invest in this again (does last forever, both as a bottle and on the body!)
Ummm I think my essay is over, just trying to boost my morale that I haven't quite managed to finish anything up at the moment but lots will be gone soon! (fingers crossed!)
Have a nice day girls x0 -
Ohh i also have to add, as I was wearing gloves during my match on Sat, I have some very attractive tan marks, also on my legs where my socks were! So I have used a fair bit of an Original Source body scrub to try and minimise this line and should be finishing this up in the next few days. WIBA no, it's not very scrubby, and more akin to a body wash (hence using up so much in a small time!). I might sound a bit machochistic but when I scrub I like to feel as though my skin is actually coming off IYSWIM :rotfl: well, not literally but I do like to feel a result! lol0

the remove thanks is an improvement for people like me who than in error sometimes, by letting the mouse hover at the bottom of the page you are reading, then you realise you've thanked someone who is being horrid or factually incorrect and previously we had no way to correct thanking errors. Believe it or not thanks have caused rows. rofl.0

I've finished a tube of Biore Blackhead Preventing Wash today. WIBA? No. I bought this as I was getting desperate, had a blackhead on my cheek that would not go away no matter what I used. This didn't get rid of it in the end - I ended up steaming my face and digging at it (sorry if that's TMI) - however it may well have done its job as I haven't had any more. I suffer with whiteheads more than black ones and still have these so need to find something else that will work!! xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Hi ladies, hope you are all well and sticking to the challenge?;)
Sorry i have not posted for a while, but have been really busy with easter hols and then a weekend away and to top it of my ds1 and dd have both been vomitting throughout the night so ive got tons of clothes going throught the washer today:eek:. Both are ok thankfully not sure what it is though as we all ate the same thing last night (very unusual) and also dd seems to be more phlemy (sorry if tmi) So am hoping when they wake from their naps they will be virtually back to normal.
Toiletries wise have used up
Trevor sorbie volume shampoo (old packaging) wiba yes if i did not have so much of stocked up
Fcuk limited edition body scrub wiba unfortunately it has been discontinued but yes
Fcuk limited edition shower gel wiba as above but yes
Toiletry spends boots smile toothpaste £1 for 100ml plus bogof and 100 points. So my spend is at £2.50 this month yeah ( i have a £5 budget) but i may stock up on toothpaste as this is a great deal and we get through loads as dont use a seperate kids tootpaste and they like this cause its not too minty. I do still need some eye make up remover but dont have a no7 voucher so cannot justify the spend £7:eek:. But im seeing it as an opportunity to try a more budget brand to see if its actually worth spending £2 on lol how mean am i:D.
Other spending is quite bad at mo, had a bit of a splurge in the gap sale:o. But i know this is linked to my mood ( i comfort shop) so hopefully will try and find another outlet for my frustration this week. Boxing anyone?????:rotfl:
Roshy i have night faries that keep refilling my washing machine, unfortunately its with dirty clothes not clean:D
Rosie, dancing sounds great and dhs/ ohs are such are pain when they spoil things by being grumpy.
Tara wow what control with the Lindor eggs. I would probably have taken a few:o
Also welcome to any newbies
Regarding the remove the thanks button, i dont think we will need it on here. Its a lovely chatty thread and more importantly it seems very much on this thread that everyone is very mature, kind, compasionate and non-judgemental being able to discuss things without getting nasty. Which quite frankly when you look at some of the threads and posts on Mse is a very welcome and refreshing change. So thanks to you all for making this a thread i really enjoy reading:T
Sorry about the loang rambly post

xxYou laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

been a bad girl again:rotfl:dragged into Debs by promise of Clarins goodies and £5 beauty club coupon.Ended up with an eye pencil in violet, hand cream, cleansing gel that I bought with £5 off coupon and sample hydra lotion form same email plus 2 pink make up bags(will do for friends grandaughter to play with)and 6 gift items:) acyually all stuff I like and will use.
then was dragged into boots with thoughts of £5 coupon(see the theme here?)so bought a foot file and othet bits to get coupon then got a eye shadow mousse in khaki for £3.75 after the £5 taken off(is it me or does £8.75 seem a lot for an eyeshadow from No 7?)I resisted the No & offer as you had to buy 3 items to get the free gift which was not that inspiring anyway.
good news is a lot of the goodies were smaller sizes of what I use so can take on holiday and save weight:)(that's if OH gets back in time to go!!!!)
DS just called to say got an appointment at local hospital to see if he can have an op there instead of near uni where he has been messed about since November so fingers crossed and i have been signed off physio:)0 -
Ooh Rosemary, you have been naughty! Go and do some lines now!
NaB- hope the littlies are soon better.
Nothing to report here. I need to sort out my washing and get it ironed before I go to work tonight. I also need to sort out the recycling and get some jacket pots in for tea else everyone will starve!
