we have been doing ballroom dancing for about 5 years now and go to a weekly class plus practice night and any dances we can find.I love it when we go to a posh dance/ball as I get to wear long dresses and OH wears black tie, sadly there are only a few around but found a new club recently and at least we can go to a dance each week if we want to live music(the 1 this week was a big band Glen Miller type, really good)

re no 7 polish I am still having trouble with it!!!put salsa on top of a base and it went all streaky so had to quickly take it off again before the dance but it stays fine and looks nice on my toes????

    The dancing sounds so glamorous.

About the nail polish, I always find that if I do it properly with a base coat and a top coat the extra layers make it chip faster so I usually just do the colour without the extra layers.

No7 have a new nail polish called beanie, it's almost the exact same as the Chanel mushroom colour one that sells out a lot. Might suit somebody with a No7 voucher to spend. I also want a dark one called blackberry (looks purple in the bottle).

    I've been Money Tipped!
I'm on my last toothpaste, just started. DH has taken the two other tubes to cut open and use ()its the sort of thing I end up cutting myself on.

Is it acceptableto buy now? I'm going to keep yes open for a bogof.

Ooh debi, you've just reminded me I forgot to reply to your Mac blusher post the other day........glad you like it!! Little tip, when you use it make sure you take the blusher cream evenly from all over the surface of the pot. I had a tendency to dab into the middle and ended up with a used-up hole in the middle and an annoying ring of blusher creme left round the rim:D

Thanks for the tip Bronnie it really is a fab blusher and I am so pleased with the result. The SA applied it using a brush and told me not to use my fingers. I have just had a look on the website and it costs £25.00 :(.

Today I used my Smashbox foundation brush and I was really pleased with the result, I do not want to purchase any more brushes as I am more than happy with my Smashbox ones.

Not sure where you live Bronnie, but Bath Boots has lots if you're anywhere near

Not quite sure if it'd be such a bargain once I'd factored in the 280 mile round trip even with the extra Advantage points :rotfl:.....but thanks for thinking of me. Been bogged down with paperwork all day that's been hanging over me for ages, all complete now, so may do a bit of phoning round local Branches tomorrow and see if I can track some down!

Rosemary.....being on a strict diet for the last 6 weeks (excluding my holiday week :p) has made me  VERY MEAN , whenever chocolate is mentioned...ask Tara!! :rotfl:

Ooh I've just noticed the "Remove Your Thanks" button, hard to keep up with all these developments. Still grappling with hyperlinking and multi-quoting!!!

I don't blame you! The SA who sold it to me told me to pat it on with my ring finger, starting at the top apple of your cheek and working round and out so that's what I do for daytime use.

Bought a small hand cream today as I've run out and my hands are desperate. There were no particularly good offers on to make it worth buying a big one/multiple, so I shall keep my eyes peeled for future hand bargains.
