The eye make up sounds lovely, what sort of dancing do you do? Salsa or ballroom maybe...is it to live music?

I now have 2 No7 vouchers from Boots, didn't buy anything to get them, my mother gave them to me so will get some more nail polish with them next week.
yes I was really pleased with the make up and would never of thought of it but for last min panic over lost eyeshadow!think I will have to buy some more:eek:...no idea if its still made tho as was in a freebie bag ages ago!

we have been doing ballroom dancing for about 5 years now and go to a weekly class plus practice night and any dances we can find.I love it when we go to a posh dance/ball as I get to wear long dresses and OH wears black tie, sadly there are only a few around but found a new club recently and at least we can go to a dance each week if we want to live music(the 1 this week was a big band Glen Miller type, really good)

re no 7 polish I am still having trouble with it!!!put salsa on top of a base and it went all streaky so had to quickly take it off again before the dance but it stays fine and looks nice on my toes????

not sure about PYNM we go away next wed and want to do my toes just before using a small revlon bottle that I can take with me for touch ups so may leave till end of week.hands are a problem at the mo as lots of gardening to do which does not make for long lasting nails:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hi all, I have finished a few products since I last posted:-

Elemis Neck and Bust Lifting Cream - WIBA? Yes. I do have another 15ml tube of this which I want to try and save for when I go away in October as this cream is brilliant at tackling sun damaged skin on my chest (sorry, I can't spell the d word!).

Elemis Nourishing Milk Bath - WIBA? No - Think I still have another 2 x 125mls of this. I don't find that it does anything for me at all. Maybe I should try it as a lotion but then I feel loathe to use it this way as it's so expensive.

Crabtree and Evelyn Eye Make Up Remover - WIBA? - possibly. I have a No7 eye make up remover ready to use next so will see how this compares. The C&E one was gentle and effective however I bought it from TKMaxx so not sure if it has been discontinued now.

Clinique Melon Sky lipgloss - WIBA? Yes, however Clinique have discontinued the colour. I have bought a replacement (a while ago now) called Guava Gold but it's not the same colour or texture. Was hanging onto Melon Sky trying to get every last bit out of it but now it's finished.

Did buy some eye cream and wax strips at weekend from Boots. Paid for the wax strips with Advantage points. Was looking for the Soap & Glory hot cloth cleanser again but it seems to be sold out everywhere and as MrM reasoned it may be that Boots won't restock it until the offer is finished so I will leave it be. I am nearly at the end of my Elemis Absolute Eye Serum so need a new eye cream. Bought the Boots Vitamin E one. Hope it's good. x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • Hi

Am currently enjoying a day off, but v annoyed that I worked all the days when the sun was shining, and now I've got a dull, grey day:mad:, but I suppose it meant it was the perfect morning for a soak in the bath and a little pampering while OH is at work:p.

    My recent use-ups have been:

Avon shampoo, Aquafresh toothpaste, an Avon moisturiser, 2 bath bombs, a mini shower gel liberated from a hotel about 5 years ago, no7 cleanser and an Avon toner.

Seems quite impressive when I write it all down, but they are mostly products that were either already started or mini sizes. But I'm pleased I'm still sticking to this challenge, I've hardly bought anything since the end of March, and only 2 Garnier deodorants that weren't strictly needed!

Hope everyone else is having a good day

I managed to finish 2 more things over the weekend:

Soap and Glory Body Butter - The Righteous Butter. WIBA? Maybe - I really liked it, and it did work, but I found it sometimes slightly plasticky, and just not as good as the Body Shop butters. However, it did last longer, and is cheaper at normal prices, so who knows... Anyway, tons of Body Shop ones in stash to use up still!

Random hair mask - given to me by a friend. WIBA? No - very non-descript, which is why I can't even remember the name! Just nothing special, but worked ok for the few days I was using it.

So I can now open a new body butter and conditioner, yay! :T

    Afternoon

Finished an Essential Care Calendula Balm WIBA yes a lovely all purpose balm that melts on the skin.

Used the last of my A'Kin lip balm WIBA maybe, I prefer the tube lip balms saves having to put your fingers in the products.

Finished a tube of Nuxe face moisturiser WIBA yes I like this moisturiser for my face very hydrating.

Finished an Organic Care Hair Conditioner this morning WIBA yes, but I think Morrisons are no longer stocking this.

I have an Organic Surge face cream in my stockpile which I will use for night time and a Soap & Glory Glow Job Daily Radiance for daytime which has bronzing beads in it.

Off to work now, have a good day everyone.

Just finished a Nicky Clarke conditioner for curly hair (in a pump dispenser) WIBA yes probably as easy to use and quite effective.

Had to buy a conditioner as didn't have any in the house. Got a pomegranate one and it's rubbish. Will post the make later when I've checked upstairs.

I've sorted my sons room and toilettries out and he's using up allsorts of stuff. He wants me to get some FCUK deodorant as he's just used that up.

Ooh debi, you've just reminded me I forgot to reply to your Mac blusher post the other day........glad you like it!! Little tip, when you use it make sure you take the blusher cream evenly from all over the surface of the pot. I had a tendency to dab into the middle and ended up with a used-up hole in the middle and an annoying ring of blusher creme left round the rim:D
