Tara -- I'd say chuck it. Its only 25p and if you really dislike it that much its just not worth it.
Completelylost -- don't suppose you remember what the name of the hair treatment was do you? My hair is getting in pretty bad shape at the ends (could do with a trim really but that won't be happening just yet) and I'd love to give this a try.0 -
Hi ladies, no time to read through all the posts right now but hope you are all having a nice Sunday.
*ahem*
I hereby request permission to bin an almost-finished Asda Extra Special handcream as it is horrible greasy stuff!!!!! It cost me about £1.25 and there's about 25p worth left in the tube. Pleeeease?
YES!YES!YES! :rotfl: Can't be doing with greasiness.

Are you talking about an Avon eye cream, if so which one?
No, not Avon this time - it's a Nivea Natural Beauty one, and the first eye cream I have ever felt is actually having some effect!yes thats the one - a kind of dark lilac bottle?? It was that really minging burnt manky smell that catches in the nose and just hurts.....
BARF !!!!! :rotfl:
Yes, Seconded. Rest assured you are not the only one to have used a massive handful of the stuff just to use it up! :rotfl:
Tara yes, another vote here for chucking it if it's that bad.
Vicster sorry to hear about your rubbish day - hopefully you got hold of Boots in time to get the card cancelled before anyone could spend the points.
Small spend in Boots today - I am half way through my last pack of cotton wool pads so bought some more on the 3 for £3 deal which was quite a saving. I do go through them with eye makeup remover so stocking up was handy.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

went to a dance last night and wanted to wear boots silver grey eyeshadow but it had gone walkabout so ended up with pale blue freebie boots no 7 one and put body shop silver glitter over it and a nina ricci navy eye pencil to line under andon top lid,not my usual look at all but very preety and the navy was more flattering than the usual black and made my eyes look more alive:)
had a lovely time and danced nearly every dance in OH arms(a friend said he looked like Robert redford or Paul Newman in his DJ!!!!!!!)!
The eye make up sounds lovely, what sort of dancing do you do? Salsa or ballroom maybe...is it to live music?
I now have 2 No7 vouchers from Boots, didn't buy anything to get them, my mother gave them to me so will get some more nail polish with them next week.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -

Henna treatment wax, you get a HUGE old-fashioned looking tub of it for 99p at Bodycare. You can use it on any hair type/colour - I use it and I dye my hair black, my mum uses it and she bleaches her hair blonde. It says to leave it on for 30 mins not 4-hours :S But my hair is currently frazzled so I left it on all afternoon.0 -
I used a couple of things from my Lush collection this weekend -yesterday the final chunk of a "Comforter" bubble bar and today a "Big Blue" bath bomb. WIBA? Yes, I love them both but still have lots of Lush left in my stash and I'm banning myself from going into their shop for now as its my big temptation. (Boots I can resist and Body Shop tempts me from time to time, but Lush is my downfall.) Bubble bars are more money saving than the bombs though because you can get several baths out of one bar - this last Comforter one gave me 6 baths in all and generous bubbly ones at that! :j
I also finished a 25ml size No7 Protect & Perfect Body Serum that I think came in a GWP some time back. WIBA? I liked the texture a lot but wasn't too fussed on the fragrance, so probably not. Plus I've got another of the same size to finish as well.
rachelmk - did I read right that you were expecting to finish your eye gel today!!! :T Mine seems to still be topped up nightly by the top-up fairies - surely it can't last much longer!
I've got a travel size Boots shower gel that I should finish tomorrow, plus another of the 25ml No7 Protect & Perfect Body Serums.
Bye for now and not many days now until the end of April so keep going with the challenge everybody.

Hi need some help is, I have asian skin and need eyecream to reduce dark circles are there any good ones on the high street?
I have tried a lot of different eye creams and gels and the one that has always worked best for me for dark circles is Benefit's Eye Con. As its quite pricey I have tried lots of other cheaper things in the hope I'll find something as good, but I haven't as yet. So I would be interested in other people's recommendations for this as well.0 -
I finished a mouthwash today and I don't need to buy another one yet because I found one.Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0

Is it expensive per use though? If it works and lasts then maybe it's better to just stick to that. If you can't justify the price and you know how long it lasts then perhaps add it to your christmas/ birthday/ mothers day etc wishlists?
I remembered to put NIGHT cream on tonight. Haven't body moisturised tonight though as it was really late.
Emergency with DS who decided to kick his radiator (by accident) on his way to bed. The howling made DH and I both think he'd broken his toes and I'd be going straight back to work (hadn't even got my coat off, let alone uniform!). DH said it made an awful crack . It's badly bruised- instantly in factbut he's gone to bed and was asleep quickly. Don't think it's too bad but I lose all sense of rationale when my babies are hurt
