Evening Ladies
Kaz hope your eye is better.
Rosemary hope your okay.
Judgejaq I rang Diptyque and a very nice man sent me Tamdao samples, fragrance, bath & shower gel & body cream. He also enclosed another 3 samples L'Art Du Soin, Philosykos & Vetyvero
Well today has been a disaster challenge wise!
Went into town on my own and went to the House of Frazer which has a Mac counter and bought a cream blush on Bronnie's recommendation. totally agree Bronnie it looks fab so soft and dewy. I have also booked a consultation for £25.00 redeemable against purchases according to the SA it will be the make up artist that has done Helen Mirrens make up!
I then went to Debenhams and bought a St Tropez set containing Body butter, perfect legs & self tan face reduced to £25.00 from £50.00 used the £5.00 voucher. I only wanted the perfect legs to try as my top half tans really easy, legs take a bit longer and at the moment they are a bit pale. This was £20.00 to buy on it's own, so it was nice to get the freebies.
I was then given another £5.00 voucher and bought DD the new Ghost fragrance "Captivating", came with a free scented candle so cost me £26.00. This I Will put away for her birthday in May, she loves the Ghost fragrances.
I picked up the Clarins free sample and the Sa was a lady I used to work with about 10 years ago so she gave me a load of different products to try, also picked up the Estee lauder free mascara from the magazine
I then mooched up to Boots and bought the following items which were reduced, I used my points
Seche nail strengthener
Seche base coat
Tweezerman round tip tweezers
Tweezerman men's tweezers
Moustache & beard scissors with a comb (this is for hubby not me!)
Belvada Mascara reduced from £20.00 to £5.00
Received a free sample of Simple cream from a SA who was handing out samples.
So as you can see I have failed miserably again.0 -
Use the sparkly creams on your belly, boobs and bu*. It's a win win scenario 'cause you get to use up the dodgy smellies with no-one but OH knowing about it and they won't think anything of it other than you've made a special effort for them- (that's if they even notice in the first place!).

I too have things on their last knockings now - an Avon Thermafirm moisturiser and a liquid handsoap and one or two other bits. Might go and do a face mask in a bit - needless to say it will still be the everlasting Strawberry & Yogurt Avon one. *rolls eyes* Still impressed with the eye cream. Trying to think what else......I'm easing back into using foot cream again after having had a strange reaction to something I was using a while back. I'll use the overnight foot repair one for a week or so before I introduce anything else though just to be cautious.
yes thats the one - a kind of dark lilac bottle?? It was that really minging burnt manky smell that catches in the nose and just hurts.....
BARF !!!!! :rotfl:Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -

Let us know what the Belvada mascara is like when you try it - I was looking at that in Boots the other day as I'm going to be needing a new mascara soon and I saw they were reduced.
Well done on getting the samples. It's lovely when you get really people, isn't it. I was trying to remember where I'd got some from but no joy, it wasn't directly from Diptyque though, as I remember getting some Creed samples at the same time. I love the packaging as well. That's just reminded me, I'm sure I've got a sample of Philosykos somewhere. I'll have to go and hunt it out, I never did get round to trying that one.
Today I bought some Boots foot softening cream - that was needed, as I'd run out of intensive stuff. I want to keep up the good work and not have my feet go as hard as hooves before the summer. Grand total of £3.49 spent. It was buy one get one half price, but there wasn't a huge selection in my weeny Boots, and I couldn't remember which one I normally get.
Used up a small Lush bath melt earlier tonight, and I'm almost finished a Lush sugar scrub. They do last pretty well if you use them properly, just on damp skin and not under running water (which I stupidly did with the first one I got). It's a really good scrub as well.

Had a bad day today
Started off well, ordered 2 mouthwashes on offer and a deodrant to come with my online shop. Then went into town and went to Boots. Did want to get a new eyecream as the one I'm using at the moment has given me some lovely dry patches . Was going to get a Clinque one but they were busy and couldn't be bothered to wait. So, got an Avene one, got some offers from the Ad card machine (100 points on Smile toothpaste which is £1 and on BOGOF so technically 2 for free). Anywayyyy, also picked up 4 cans of Sure which were on BOGOF (and had a £1 off coupon) and the self checkout broke on me!!!!!! So had to be shepherded to the normal till, where I realised I'd lost my ad card somewhere along the line (think someone had away with it
) then they messed up half my coupons and I lost out on about £4 worth of points and THEN had to ring up Boots to get them to replace my card!!! All in all a rubbish day and I'm hoping no-one has used my points as there is about £37 on there! But, hey, the sun was shining and I got a bit of exercise!
Oh and I bought another mouthwash in Iceland
Sorry for the long moany post!I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0 -
