girls, forgive me for i have sinned

i had a match this afternoon and woke up with a blister on top of another blister - killer! could hardly walk so had to pop into boots to get some blister plasters etc (essentials!) but...i picked up 4 sets of fake nails reduced, 2 nail doctor products (reduced) plasters, a pad and bandage for my heel and a venus razor and they had the refills reduced with a free shaving gel, so another £23 spent :(

Hmmm, the essentials we can forgive, but the rest...? I wouldn't like to say...:rotfl:

Had a bad day today :(

Started off well, ordered 2 mouthwashes on offer and a deodrant to come with my online shop. Then went into town and went to Boots. Did want to get a new eyecream as the one I'm using at the moment has given me some lovely dry patches . Was going to get a Clinque one but they were busy and couldn't be bothered to wait. So, got an Avene one, got some offers from the Ad card machine (100 points on Smile toothpaste which is £1 and on BOGOF so technically 2 for free :)). Anywayyyy, also picked up 4 cans of Sure which were on BOGOF (and had a £1 off coupon) and the self checkout broke on me!!!!!! So had to be shepherded to the normal till, where I realised I'd lost my ad card somewhere along the line (think someone had away with it :() then they messed up half my coupons and I lost out on about £4 worth of points and THEN had to ring up Boots to get them to replace my card!!! All in all a rubbish day and I'm hoping no-one has used my points as there is about £37 on there! But, hey, the sun was shining and I got a bit of exercise!

Oh and I bought another mouthwash in Iceland

Sorry for the long moany post!

You're forgiven vicster, sounds like you've alreday done your penance!!! :rotfl:

skaps, no idea about the eye cream as I don't have dark circles (just puffy eyes lol), but I'm sure someone will be along soon with answer xoxo

Are we all being good and not buying the QVC Elemis offer today. Repeat after me...NO!

    Stash review
Sounds like many of us are struggling and getting tempted/empted of pockets by Boots. Who's up for a review of what stash they have so they can remind themselves of what they have? I could really do with doing this as I keep finding bits in odd places again.

To buy or need to buy
On a positive note, I need body cream (still not got to Sainsbugs Champneys). I have a Sainsburys hand cream which is a bit naff so may use that as a body lotion to use it up. Nuxe do a nice hand cream (found in some Boots and Space NK, and for about £12ish compares very favourably with Elemis pro-collagen hand cream which is about £30!!! Although any reviews of lovely handcream for sub £10 would be welcome.

    Use up report!!

I have used up a Timotei shampoo and conditioner (OK everyday shampoo) and a manky Alberto Balsam shampoo (hated that).
The eye gel will be used up today (I hope).

On the down side (sort of) I bought a bronzing powder yesterday (using points) and a packet of No 7 make up wipes using a No 7 voucher. Total spend was £1.75 so not too bad.

Nothing further required for at least a couple of weeks and tehn it will just be everyday toiletries like deodorant and shampoo.

Will use another Lush bath bomb tonight to get rid of them.

I don't watch QVC *smug* :rotfl:

I'm on for a stash review, must keep reminding myself of how much I have already.

It's odd though, I have not been tempted by Boots at all in ages. If I could wean myself off the Body Shop I would be flying!|

Finally finished my Boots Vitamin E night cream. WIBA: yes yes yes! It is amazing and only £2.99 a pot (although I think I got mine on the 2 for £4 deal). I've put £2.99 in the savings pot anyway. Still have plenty of night creams to use up. I'm going to go back to the Skin Doctors one for the time being, maybe I'll open one of my Body Shop jojoba ones and alternate them.

    Happy Sunday everyone!!! :)

"found" a new look in my make up box:)
went to a dance last night and wanted to wear boots silver grey eyeshadow but it had gone walkabout so ended up with pale blue freebie boots no 7 one and put body shop silver glitter over it and a nina ricci navy eye pencil to line under andon top lid,not my usual look at all but very preety and the navy was more flattering than the usual black and made my eyes look more alive:)

had a lovely time and danced nearly every dance in OH arms(a friend said he looked like Robert redford or Paul Newman in his DJ!!!!!!!)of course he had not said a word on the journey there and again on the way home so rather spoilt the night:(:(:(
to day he is creeping a bit but I am feeling very cool and he is off to cardiff tomorrow, back tuesday night then off to Ireland wednesday(and missing concert even tho the customer said maybe the machine would be ok and he didn't need to go!!!!),back friday then off to Denmark BH mon and hopefully home late tues in time to go on holiday wed.......and he can't see why I am stressed with him!!!

NO! I am not watching QVC, although in the past it has been my biggest downfall :D.

Finished a Boots Therapy bath foam, which was fine, would buy it again (if they still make it), and a very old body spray that I found in the car :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:For some reason it is still easier to finish up the odd things, rather than the nice things :o

    Afternoon,

I am running dangerously low on supplies now - it's actually a really great feeling to look on my toiletries shelf and see that I only have one of a particular item left :)

I tried the 99p hair treatment I bought from Bodycare a couple of months ago... left it on my hair for four hours as my hair was in pretty dire condition. Anyway, just rinsed it off, dried my hair, and there is a big improvement. Whether or not it's just coated in silicone I'm not sure, but it doesn't feel lank/greasy like it usually does after conditioning so I'm really pleased. Probably the cheapest and best hair treatment I've ever used.
