Sorry for the long post, and hopefully I don't come across as some kind of nut! Love the thread and read a lot of the March one, thinking I must join in April ... so here I am!

Welcome and don't worry, you're among like-minded friends here!!

Hey you!! Come back here and explain yourself AT ONCE!!!:D
  • Hi Candice - I am new here too! I signed up for the challenge in April but started sorting through my stash over the last couple of weeks and even cracked open a 'too nice for everyday' body lotion I was 'saving' - sound familiar?!
One thing I would say is this thread is making me get back into the habit of taking a few mins to do my nails or put on a hair conditioning treatment, etc instead of collecting all these lovely products and then not getting round to using them. So my advice would be to just get stuck into the goodies that smell the tastiest and pamper yourself this month.:j
  • Many thanks Bronnie and moneytalking! So at least I'm amongst like-minded nuts hey?!

I am going to make a start on sorting through my stash later, and getting it into some unopened / part opened order.

I have seen some people make lists of what they have, and what they have used etc - think I will do that too as it will help me to be organised. (Probably won't put it on here though as I don't want to totally humiliate myself before I've got to know you all!)

I will take your advice moneytalking and start using some of "saved for best" stuff - may even open one of my Lush gift boxes tonight and have a pampering evening. Oh God just typing it has brought me out into a cold sweat! lol

    Bye for now!
    Candice xx

Mmm tara 747 is a bit quiet. How's Belfast Tara, how's the stash? Care to share? :p;):p

    Welcome newbies and lurkers.

On the subject of cream blushers, can you put powder over them? Sorry probably a basic question... I watched a make up artist rave about this product, in pink lemonade:

I've so far managed to avoid ordering from this company. I can feel myself going all weak...

  • Well I'm nearly a week in, and feel I am making some progress on clearing out my stash. So far I've used up a bottle of shampoo, 3 moisturisers and 2 Lush bath bombs. (OK, so they were all minis and were all already open, but it's cleared a lot of room on the window sill!) The other thing that's changed is how tidy the shelves are. I had everything out to count it up, and while doing it, gave all the bottles a wipe over and put them back tidily in about half the space they previously had, so it already looks less daunting (although I do know there's still over 25 moisturisers in there!)

I've had to fight with myself not to buy anymore, it's not that I buy expensive brands, it's just habit to put them in the trolley and I can't resist a bargain so any BOGOF offers on shampoo or 4 for £3 on bubble baths just jump off the shelf...

Going to go and put on a face mask and paint my nails now, OH's gone to work so I can spend the evening pampering!
