Used up Solar Expertise anti wrinkle suncream SPF 15. Goodness knows why I have this, I think I went through a phase of collecting samples. WIB? Maybe, nice consistency on skin, not too thick or too watery like some sun face creams.

I like this product too!! By L'Oreal ...I've often managed to pick it up at a fairly reasonable price.
I got a free Dove shower gel sample too. A fairly generous 55ml size bottle, perfect to keep for travelling!!0 -
Here I am!
Better late than never!
I've not bought anything throughout March and April!!
Today I bought:
Some Sensodyne mouth wash.
My teeth are really playing up at the moment, and I didn't have a sensitive teeth mouth wash.
A small deoderant stick - this was to go into a feminine products little cosmetic purse to go in my bag that I take around with me. Also bought the little purse. It now contains some pads, tampons and the little deoderant stick.
I overheat a lot - can't regulate my temperature properly, and I didn't want to be carrying round a full deoderant spray.
Radox bath thingie - I'd said in March I was allowing myself to buy another bottle of radox.
Other than that I've been really good! And I did need the above things :-)#942 - Sealed Pot Challenge 2010

I don't believe it works either. Any one tried something that does?
I have been using OPI Nail Envy for years and it tends to work for a while and then not (admittedly though I did try a bottle that was not the original formula (I think it was the one with orange writing on for weak and peeling nails)) however I now use a Leighton Denny crystal file in conjunction with this and my nails have never been stronger. The file seals the ends of the nails and most of the time now I have to cut my nails down rather than them breaking. Give it a go. You can buy the files at Boots.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Hi, meant to also add that yesterday I finished a 15ml tube of Elemis Pro Collagen Quartz Lifting Mask. WIBA? Not specifically but would use it if it came as part of a kit. Have another 15ml tube left in my stash that I'll probably save to take away with me in October. Not sure whether it does anything - Keeley on QVC raves about it recommending that people use it for 10 days straight to see a difference. I've been using it every day to get it finished off! Something is working though as I feel my skin's looking better than it has for a while!
I am having a battle of wills at the moment with Boots. I have a mailshot with various vouchers on it, one before for S&G skincare and I desperately want to try Fab Pore to see if it is anything like C&P. As everything's on 342 as well I'm thinking of getting their eye gel because I'm nearly out of the Elemis Absolute Eye Serum and can't afford to replace this. Can anyone recommend the S&G eye gel or is their serum better? I tried a bit of the eye gel on the back of my hand yesterday and it was very glittery! I'd also get the S&G highlighter on the offer too. Thing is though that the last few times I've been in Boots I can't find the Fab Pore so maybe someone is trying to tell me something!!
Gonna paint my nails today but first want to have a nosey at my stash to see what colour I fancy. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Finished:
Aveda Outer peace spot relief cream. WIBA. Yes definitely. I have developed such fussy skin, other creams don't do much for the spots at all, and/or dry the surrounding area creating a larger eyesore! this calms them significantly without interfering with the rest of my skin.
after making time to have done two face massages on consecuive days with oil I woke up, after not much sleep, to be very pleasantly surprised with how my skin looks. I swear I look much younger since starting this challenge. using things regularly and being more attentive to very small changes in skin really is paying off. There ar times in the last couple of years I have felt like I look ten years older than I am. I think at a push today I could pass for a few years younger.0 -
Good morning!
Over the past few days I have reported a few freebies (and competition wins) that I have received... Anyway, I arrived home last night to a full size Dove moisturiser to test in the post. they sent it to me because they were pleased with the feedback that I gave them after the shower gel that I tested at the end of last year (the one I did the photoshoot for). Dove included a card with the mosituriser so that I can report back my thoughts on the product and if I do, they will send me a goodie bag worth £25.00.
Now I know that all these freebies are adding to my stash, but I believe that I am being MSE because I am not paying for them (so it doesn't count). I was in Boots yesterday and really did not want to buy anything, I am going to get back in the swing of using stuff up...
On another note, my parents will probably be heading back home to Oz soon, now that Heathrow is open again... I am really dreading them going because it has been great having them visit me and I am worried about being lonely...I'm buying No More Toiletries, I'm Deluttering and I'm Losing Weight for 2010!0 -
Hi all, as I consider your collective brainpower to be the fountain of all knowledge in regards to beauty products
, can you please advise me of an eye gel to begin using?
I'm in my early 20s but my skin around my eyes is starting to feel delicate and I think it might get a bit papery soon? I've been using a tester of the Benefit eye gel (as I have a soft spot for benefit) over the past couple of nights but I think it is drying them out and are leaving them sore (almost like an eyelash has been in my eye and i've been rubbing them!). As they say prevention is better than cure?
Thanks in advancex

Jacjacjac hope you cheer up soon, you won't feel so lonely when you report all your use ups on here to us girls
. But on a more serious note - think on the brighter side, there will be less stress for yourself and your parents about when the flights are going to start back up again etc? i know its not going to make it feel any less painful but every cloud has a silver lining, you just have to keep an eye out for it

Morning!
Another couple of use-ups to report:
Lush American Cream conditioner - WIBA, probably not, didn't seem to be very conditioning on my hair, and have never liked vanilla scented smellies!
Avon Naturals hydrating face cream - very light moisturiser, smoothed on and sunk in very nicely, but too heavily perfumed for my face so have been using it all over, with vaseline intensive moisturiser for knees and elbows! WIBA - now disontinued and have 20 odd other moisturisers in the stash!
Molton Brown wild indigo shower gel - after all the raves about MB I was looking forward to something really special, but didn't like the smell, far too masculine, and didn't do much for my skin WIBA - nope
Boots expert heat defence spray - WIBA yes, when the T & G ones in my stash are used up, did the job and at a reasonable price
Get to go and pick some new products out now! I think it's even more exciting than picking them out at the shop originally!:j
