Okay - someone talk me through the "No Buying Toiletries" concept again.......

Today I bought 6 boxes of Simple Regeneration Vitamin E serum pads, reduced to a £1 each from £4 and 1/2 price Johnsons Relaxing Body Cream and Johnsons 24 Hour Moisturising Body Cream (I wanted to see how they compare to the expensive ones I am using).

Somehow, I fear I still haven't quite got the hang of this challenge

Must try harder in May :o

Have used up a Clinique Dramatically Different Lotion and a Sensodyn toothpaste. WIBA? Toothpaste yes, lotion - not so sure. Not in winter at least as it didn't quite moisturise it enough in the winter.

I have used up a Radox bubblebath and a toothpaste pump - nothing very exotic or out of the ordinary but both OK I suppose.

Eye gel is still going - I think someone is replacing it at night:rotfl::rotfl:

:D We shall have to call it the "Must Try Harder In May Toiletries Challenge" !!!

No use ups here yet - though thankfully I seem to be able to see the base of that botanics moisturiser....

STILL no flake wins either - I must have eaten about 13 flakes so far - and bought 3 multipacks (the nine ones too - nt the small ones!!) in tesco the other day - SURELY I must win one with that lot?? (not that Im obsessed or anything!!!)

no news on the man front (for any of you who are interested!!) have had the odd text but not seen him for ages. Methinks either I need to ask him what the flip is going on,if anything - or just give up.... (giving up seems to be winning at the moment, surely if he was interested he'd be more frthcoming???!!)

Well I've had a nice pampering bath now. Shaved my legs and applied the gradual tanner again. I've used some more of the night cream and it's nice and soothing. I've noticed that the deep wrinkle in between my eyebrows is much smoother now so the cream obviously works!
My eye is still really sore. I had a look in the mirror earlier and I felt like I could see a black dot (like a splinter) on the inside of my lower eyelid. If it's still bad tomorrow then I'll go to A&E when I go into work to take the duty rotas in.
Sorry to be such a misery today. Hope I feel happier tomorrow!

I must try making lavender toner, where does one buy lavender water please?

Is it the Boots rosewater and glycerin you're talking about? It looks nice, can it be used as toner? I might check that out too. :D Mind you, thanks to the Body Shop glitch-fest in the last 7-8 months, I have enough cucumber water to last me till I'm 90!!! :rotfl: I love that stuff, if they ever discontinue it I will be so sad...

Getting your hands on lavender water is sometimes not worth the trouble. For 100ml prices start at £2 from aromatherapists, but is often not worth the bother (Once postage is calculated...) If you stock up on rosewater, and/or neroli water, etc. it may just be justifiable :). See aquaoleum.com, culpeper.com, fragrantearth.com for DIYing.

Yes Bootsie's Botanics' one which is 100% organic, not that Bootsie's vintage looking Rosewater which is not so holy and natural.
