The phone rang earlier,.and while chatting I starting to do my evening body moisturiser..so I never actually washed out the conditioner I'd put in my hair. oops. Still it will protect my hair in the field in the morning. I also didn't get round to the nail reshape, so that is bumped till tomorrow, and I might re paint toenails tomorrow too.0

Evening All!
A couple of use-ups to report here - firstly the 'orrible S&G Peachy Cream body butter finally went last night. OH will be pleased! WIBA? Not on your life! I found that the smell which initially seemed quite light and pleasant rapidly started smelling extremely heavy and synthetic to me, plus it was so thick that it was difficult to rub in and took ages to sink in. Definitely a no from me. Second was a mini perfume - Matthew Williamson. WIBA? - well this was a free sample and I did like the smell but it was a little heavy for me for an everyday scent so probably not.
Replacement products are a Sanctuary Body Souffle moisturising cream which I know I love, and I got out a miniature Chanel Chance perfume this morning but that's getting slung out as I think it may have gone off. It didn't smell too good this morning and I do remember liking it before.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hello everyone,
This is a really great thread, many thanks to the original threadstarter as it is has really made me take control of the number of products I was gathering in my v. small bedroom. As I have very sensitive skin and eczema, I thankfully don't have a collection of smelly products as I only shower using aqueous cream and thanks to a recent trip to Ghana, I bought a big lump of raw Shea butter for pennies which is still going strong from Xmas and will probably last until next Xmas lol. The next time a relative goes back to Ghana, I will just ask them to bring some back. I use this to cream my face and body and all the eczema scars are clearing up,it's amazing.
My downfall is buying numerous hair products which I don't use up before buying a new product. As a person with natural afro hair, it really is trial and error with what shampoos, conditioners and creams will work to make my hair soft and manageable. It doesn't really help when alot of the products targeted for afro hair are filled with cheap rubbish filler ingredients such as mineral oil and petroleum which actually dries the hair even further. Did I mention I've also coloured my hair? So more products needed to keep it from breaking. Therefore, I'm making my way slowly through them all.
Things I'm using/used up this month:
Almay double moisturiser with SPF 15: Bought from poundland. WIBA? No. Far too perfumed for my face but have been using it up by putting it on my boobs at night :rotfl:. Maybe they should advertise it as a breast cream lol.
Revlon Innoscent bath and body spray: Another buy at poundland. WIBA? Probably not. Scent doesn't last very long. However, this bottle seems to lasting for ages. It's true, that the products you are bored of seem to last the longest.
Will paint my toenails this week with a W7 nail polish which seems to have lasted for 2 years! Sorry to write an essay.0 -
Also forgot to mention earlier that I actually finished my stash of Multibionta vitamins on Saturday and am nearly through another box of fruit tea. I've now started on my two boxes of Prebio 7 capsules. Slowly but surely......
I'm struggling with using up my facial skincare stuff at the moment though as my rosacea has been very bad. It's getting me down now so I think I might have to go back to the doctor.
The raw shea butter sounds interesting London baby. Does it smell nice?Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0 -
Oh, just had a thought, someone (I forget who sorry!) was saying that they were having difficulty removing their mascara.
Try using baby oil or any oil for that matter. Put it on some cotton wool and then hold the cotton wool pad against your lashes for about 15-20 seconds. The oil will melt away the mascara. You won't have to rub at your eyes as the mascara should just wipe away with one or two wipes. Hi everyone,
I haven't bought anything so far this month... although I've been very tempted. It's nothing I've seen or read about but I just felt like buying something.
Tonight OH finished a Radox bubble bath. I was a bit jealous tbh lol. Nearly finished an M&S body butter, it seems to be staying at the same amount no matter how much I use :rotfl:Maybe I should stop using the other body butter I opened and finish this one first.I need to buy toothpaste but nothing else.
Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0 -
I won a Clarins Self Tanning Mousse through the Debenhams Beauty Club on Facebook yesterday and also received another of my flake Benefit wins in the post yesterday!! I love free stuff!!!!! My logic is that although I am adding to my stash, it saves me buying things for the sake of it and saves me money :jI'm buying No More Toiletries, I'm Deluttering and I'm Losing Weight for 2010!0
