Oh bum! I'm out of Batiste dry shampoo, how did that happen??? I bought Umberto Giannini beauty makeover spray, does that do the same job?

A local chemist has an offer on Batiste atm, it's £1.39 so I must go and stock up on a couple of cans tomorrow while it's so cheap. Apologies in advance, but I have actually run out of something for the first time in donkeys!!! *shock horror*

used up a never ending moisturiser today! cocoa butter, but in my haste to get dressed and in the sun, i ruined my brand new leather boots by pulling them on before the moisturiser had settled in... grr!
Each day is a new beginning, look at what you have an be grateful for every tiny thing. You don't know when it may be taken away.
  • Morning!

I've finished up a couple of products, nothing special, just an own brand shower gel, 2 own brand bubble baths, frizz-ease hair spray (WIBA - no way, made my hair feel like straw!) and a clarins cleanser/exfolliant with orange oil (WIBA - nope, much too scrubby, made my face go shiny pink for 2 days, and used up the rest on my elbows...)

But I must confess, I did spend in boots y'day, but it was a planned purchase! I've been use mini no 7 bottles of cleanser, toner and moisturiser, and they have made an amazing difference to my skin, which for the first time ever is soft and smooth. So I bought replacements for each as the 3 for 2 offer is due to end on Tuesday, and mine will have run out by the end of the week, with only 3 samples size cleansers in the stash. So a £16 spend, and I'd found a £10 gift voucher while tidying that I didn't know I'd got, so really only £6, so I'm sure that's allowed! Brings my total spend since beginning of March to £8.30 and nothing else needed til end of April!

It might be very expensive to post though, if it's one of the big bottles...

I use MUA a lot for swapping. Sometimes I send things via second class post to bring the cost down but figure that I'm getting rid of something I don't want for something I want to try in return.

I've not finished anything else up as yet although I'm getting through things but I did have to throw away an LE Skin Repair Moisturiser yesterday as it smelt bad. WIBA? Maybe. I do like it however only use it as a night cream and have a pot that I'm using now, a fresh pot unopened and a tube that I opened on holiday so will see once these are all gone. x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I must check out MUA, have never been on it but it could help me to get rid of a few unwanted products. Can you swap stuff that's been opened?

Since I joined this thread earlier this month I have bought:-

Dove Pro-age body cream reduced to £2.49
and Roc Day & Night pack reduced to £3.00

    Oops :o

The goodnews is I have finished up:-

Body SHop Hemp Body Butter WIBA yes, I loved it......but it left marks on underwear!

Body Shop Rich Plum Body Butter WIBA no - DD's loved the smell but too sweet for me and very oily

Liz Earle Botanical Body Cream WIBA yes, love the smell

Your Organics Nourishing Body Cream WIBA probably not - no smell and I missed having it but nice and cheap

Champneys Hand & Body Lotion x 2 WIBA probably not - got them in the bathroom when I won a trip to Champneys, loved using it but it made me want to go back and I cannot afford to! :rotfl:

Scholl Intensive moisturising Cream WIBA no, effective but too slippery for morning use, fine for night time

Soap & Glory Greatest Scrub WIBA yes!! Loved it, cheap but effective....I want more!

Soap & Glory I-Foam WIBA yes!! Lovely smell and SO much lather!!

L'Occiatne Lavender Shower Gel WIBA no - loved the smell but want to stop buying expensive brands....also plastic bottle shattered in my hand as I squeezed last bit out......really lucky not to get sharp bits cut my hand

L'Occitane Lavender Shower Cream WIBA no - I love it, love the smell but no more expensive brands for me!

REALLY pleased with how much I have used up, but most stuff left is large sizes so think it will be quite some time before I can use up more.

One item to check in as used up - an Avon shower gel. It was one of the Senses range - caled Sunset I think - and smelt deliciously orangey. WIBA? - I'd love to, but as is the way of it it's been discontinued! I've asked Mum to let me know if they reintroduce it.

I have to confess I'm tempted by the new aloha one but only because it sounds like it would smell really nice. The reminder of my 75 shower gels brings me to my senses (no pun intended) :rotfl:though.
