    I've been Money Tipped!
I put some shampoo in the empty handwash container, and its washing really well, bu the smell is hideous.....truly like, um, off perfume. Thinking about it I'm pretty sure this shampoo dates from 2003. Yuck.

Managed to use up three items this weekend:

    1. Vaseline intensive care hand and nail cream - WIBA yes I do like it and it seems to keep my hands soft and my nails strong. Although in saying that I won't be buying it for a while as I have 11 others to use up first:rotfl:. In saying that two are in use (one in the kitchen and one overnight one in the bedroom) and I have just put a boots walnut, rosemary and lemon hand cream in the bathroom.

    2. Deoderant - not one I'd buy again OH bought it for me when I was in hospital and had run out but I am a Sure girl so will stick with that. Only have one left in my stash so will keep an eye open for any offers on that.

    3. No7 toner Beautifully Balanced - WIBA probably not. It was a great toner but felt a bit strong for my skin. Its for oily skin and I have dry skin so a bit too powerful. Have opened a No7 Cleanse and care toner which seems to be a bit more forgiving on first use.

So £3 into my pot and no new spends so far this month.

Nightmare saverholic!!! The worst ones always seem to last forever! What moisturiser is it?

There's two. A PlanetSpa one from Avon and a Chocolate Frenzy Body Souffle from Next which is so gloupy I've resorted to using it on my feet. Don't like either of them.

The Planet Spa one doesn't seem to rub in properly, smells a bit weird and feels cold (if that makes sense). The chocolate one is simply too thick to use as a body moisturiser and I'm getting sick of the fake chocolate smell.

They are both nearly used up thankfully (though now I've said that they'll last for ages) and I'm hoping to be rid of them in a couple of weeks.

Can't wait to be rid of the collection so I can start buying ones I would like using
  • Used up a liquid soap and herbal essences shampoo. Not that keen on the shampoo, used it mainly as showergel! My stash is getting a lot smaller now thanks to this thread.

Finished off a body shop cocoa butter shower gel and body scub this morning - wouldn't buy again - can't stand the smell! On a positive note, my OH commented on how soft my skin was today! I've been using the s&g daily smooth body butter so that's good as I love the smell! Just wish they'd make it in a jar or tub!

Forgot to mention that I have now received the OPI lacquer that I purchased (rather than ordering the whole TSV) - cost me £7.50 including p&p so cheaper than I'll find it on Ebay too. It's called Red My Fortune Cookie. When I first applied it last night was a little disappointed because I thought it looked very similar to another OPI polish I have called Lunch at the Delhi - looked very corally - however in sunlight it does look tomatoey red and lush. x

I do have some more OPI lacquers on the way but I swapped these on makeupalley so have only spent the £1.50 postage cost to get them. x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Hi everyone, been a busy week so I have a lot of backreading to do :) Unfortunately I've not finished much - just a No 7 Younger Longer hand cream, which was quite nice, I would buy it again if I had a No 7 voucher. :rotfl:Going to move on to a Tesco Finest one now - bought it because it was so cheap it would have been rude not to - it is huge, so should quickly become one of those annoying everlasting products :rotfl:.

    Hi everyone,

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but anyway! I wonder if it would be possible to get my naturally dark brown to go this sort of colour - http://www.superdrug.com/content/ebiz/superdrug/invt/535257/535257_l.jpg

I've always gone for darker hair... but I saw Fearne Cotton's hair colour the other day on 'Celebrity Juice' and thought it was gorgeous. Plus greys wouldn't be so much of an issue if my hair was lighter :o

Anyway! Spends... nothing to declare. I bought some Feria black hair dye but took it back. So my spends on toiletries this month are still just 60p :D

I was catching up on all the messages and it struck me how many of us shop in Boots. I wish someone from Boots would realise this and put some special offers on this website. :rotfl:

I'm trying to go through all my body butters as now it's Summer :T it's time to bare the flesh (well, arms and legs) so it's time to move to the tanning body lotions. I've got the Nivea one as it's firming, but I've not been impressed with the colour it gives. I went off Dove & Johnsons & Johnsons as I did not like the texture of their lotions or the smell, but they've both improved their range (apparently) and they'e on special offer in Superdrug, so I'll give them a go.

Oh,the body butter I've nearly used up is Philososophy apple. WBA? No, nice smell, but didn't like the texture. I prefer Boots Mediterranean range & their Botanics firming body butter.

I've also started using my body scrubs too. I'm using up a Daniele Ryman one. WBA? Only if it was on special offer. All the scrubs I've bought have been on offer as I only really use them when I'm using tanning body lotions
