Soap & Glory Greatest Scrub - I am really liking this, find it effective but gentle
No7 Radiance Boosting Hot Cloth Cleanser - LOVING this and much better for me than Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish which gives me spots.......I think it's the essential oils in LE, my skin likes chemicals better than "natural" products :rotfl:
I also love the greatest scrub & such a reasonable price compared to what I used to use.
Liz Earle changed the formulation in the C & P, a lot of people have been complaining on the forum boards.0 -
Debidoodle, yes, it's for the Beauty Bible. I'm just doing the miracle cream this time, rather than the full package, but they also sent me some sun products to test as well. I love testing for them, I've had all sorts in the past, from Elf to Benefit to Dior.
Btw, I know I shouldn't be encouraging you here, but Boots are selling off the Urban Retreat stuff and it's 75% off at the moment. I bought one of the perfumes for £6 a few weeks back (Naughty I know, but I 'fessed up at the time and it was with vouchers) and it's really nice.
If it's the Tesco hot cloth cleanser you bought, it's really nice. I find it much gentler than Liz Earle on my skin (I think the eucalyptus is too strong for me in the LE)
I'm getting dangerously close to the bottom of my Tam Dao perfume, not sure I can hold off buying more when I run out, especially when I've got so many other bottles, but I'm going to wait a little while in the hope SpaceNK might have an offer on soon.
My local Boots doesn't stock the Urban Retreat range, so no temptation for me.
I am liking the BNatural cleanser shifts my eye make up as well & much cheaper than Liz Earle.
Would you recommend the Diptyque Tam Dao & what would you describe the smell as?0 -
evening all,
welcome to all newbies, love the stash you have fozziebear - you can confess all to us hear. we are all recovering beautyholics!
have managed to use up another shower gel. Crabtree and Evelyn le source - WIBA yes lovely smell which lingers all day. This was "acquired" from a hotel, think its probably expensive but think it would be worth it.
am becoming complete mse expert and have decanted some bubble bath from huge litre bottle into smaller shower gel bottle to use up on a daily basis.
not bought anything new this month, in fact only spent £1.40 on a small shmpoo that i needed for hand luggage this year.trying hard to be debt free by the end of 20100 -
hi sorry have another tuppence worth to share...my sister suffers terribly from psoriasis and dry skin from thyroid issues, and has come to rely on something we were advised of from a friend, they are products made from the 'Neem' tree. We used to get everything from body wash and shampoo to even toothpaste! from a website but now we find that you can get them in independant chemists and asian food shops. Its usually a powder you make into a paste but it is really effective! the only downside is that it smells horrible but when it is used it leaves no smell behind (weird!) HTH x0

A few small spends today...
Dove deodorant
McCleans whitening toothpaste
2 big branded shower gels
......for a grand total of £4!:T
I never go into the pound shop but ventured in and found that they sell good things for a pound as well as the usual tat!:p
All everyday stuff that we need and will use.
That means that my total spend for the month is £5.50 from a budget of £10 and nothing needed for the foreseeable future;)0 -
Finished up the wink body lotion. WIBA?: Nah, nice and moisturising but smells yuk. Told DH it was gone and he said "Thank God for that!"
Shall get another out of the stash.
ETA: Forgot to say that I got shampoo in my eye tonight. Boo Hoo! That means every adult in my family has done that this month- maybe we should start avoiding shampoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -

(sorry to those amongst us who are being good....not me:eek:)
Thought no-one had noticed my little post tucked away! :rotfl:
I do agree totally...I'd much rather have nice teeth and a few excess toiletries and clothes! I hadn't been to the Dentist for about 10 years (except for emergency extractions) and now have decent teeth (pending some possible cosmetic work) so I think I deserved my pretty new things!
Did receive some Goldwell Salon hair stuff today from a Glamour magazine subscription today - OH's fault! He bought it! I'm hoping it's rubbish so I won't be tempted to buy it again! :rotfl:
Also got the Body Shop glitch make up today tooI think I will be dong a make up stocktake in the next few days too
I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around[/SIZE][/FONT][/B]0 -
Hurrah ! I have used up a hand wash today and replaced it with the last one from the stash.:A0
-
Yay I've just finished off a bottle this morning as well - just a mini one but it all helps. It was an Umberto Giannini conditioner for fine hair that I bought to take on holiday last August! WIBA - probably not as I need products for coloured hair at the moment, but it had a nice smell and is good for giving volume.
I think I might also use up a handwash today - might decant some of my shower gel mountain into the bottle, as I've only got one handwash left in my stash!
Enjoy the sunshine everyone.
Bye for now,
Love Candice xx0 -

Debi, the Tam Dao is quite woody, but not in a masculine way. Its primary note is Sandalwood, and I think its slightly incensy, but it's not overpowering, and I quite often get people saying how lovely it smells and asking what it is. It's unisex, which probably explains why it's gone down quicker than it should - as if dh hasn't got enough fragrances of his own!0
