Thanks for the info, got no idea if theres any of the above near me. Im sure there is so will check it out next wed when we go to see the health visitor. No havent had a carers assessment, just got the allowance and feeling a tad bit guilty really. My DS only has developmental probs and isnt really 'disabled' as such but I do worry about childcare as hes so far behind what he should be, I just hate the idea of a normal childminder looking after him and my parents just wouldnt be able to cope with a baby now. We just had him put on the special needs register which I find difficult to think about. Its so hard when he looks normal but isnt and now hes getting older, its so apparent how behind he his. Sorry to rant on, I get pretty emotional when talking about him.

Think I need some choccy.... oh thank heavens for easter :rotfl:

:grouphug:Big Hugs( sorry they are sooo dodgy) Nataz hun, don't be sorry to rant on.....say what you need...the worrying is so hard I'm not suprised you get emotional sounds like you've had a lot to take in. Are you thinking about going back to work?

Cute - dd and frogs. My ds told next door we'd released a frog into their garden yesterday..ooops. She said they'd finished their 'hugging' and had all disappeared for another year. Where do they go to? Thought they just hung about in their favoured water spot all year?

    Typical - Sorry Prof

Mummy Pig always does as Daddy Pig is fairly useless. Whereas Grandpa Pig on the other hand is excellent.................although he occasionally falls asleep on his boat and crashes it. ;)

Hi all - DMP started yesterday. Just logged onto CCCS website to check my statement but it is showing that no payments have been made to creditors but does show that they have received my DD. Oh hang on sorry I think I have just answered my question will the statement not be updated as CCCS dont send the money till 25th??

Went over budget on this weeks food shop by £20 I am trying for no more than £30 a week but I did by DS a jacket for £7 as he is growing so fast. Will have to cut back next week to even things out. Still filling in my money book with each penny I spend seems to be working well I'm even deducting DD's which are due to make sure I dont fall short.

Heard nothing yet from Barclaycard or Halifax so am really starting to panic. Got Captial One statement yesterday to say I hadnt paid minimum payment last month and to straight away also to cut up card and send back to them, that was cut up and binned a long time ago so cant do that. It did say to ignore if I was on a reduced payment plan and to carry paying agreed monthly payment. Cap One accepted my DMP within a week of being notified they are my smallest creditor just wish Halifax and BCard would get in touch.

Anyway hope you all have a good easter.

Seems we're all spending too much time watching Peppa Pig!!

Candypop, did you allow yourselves a clothing budget? can the £7 come from that? Barclaycard told me nothing just adjusted minimum payment on the statement and stopped interest but didn't actually tell me, this seems to be a pretty common thing for barclaycard to do so look out for your statment

Good evening (or I suppose its night really)

    ljm23k,
I have my account and an overdraft and a cc with ulster bank, was going to move to first trust but just heard today they are going to b taken over so I'm now worried who's taking them over and will they have any links to any of my other debts......what a nitemare I'm sure I'll get it sorted eventually I'm still in that planning stage just want it all up and running.

Isn't the weather horrible, taking kids to see they're cousins 2morrow, we'll all probably b stuck in the house 2gether driving each other mad.....o what joy.

No daft thing is I cant actually afford to go back to work... how daft is that! What with childcare, transport and loss of benefits I would be worse off. Childcare is simply so that I can have time for me. DS is 10mths soon and since he was born we've been joined at the hip. Not so bad with my DD, shes nearly 3 and grandparents look after her two days a week but neither of them are able to carry DS due to health probs and unless DH is off work its just me. Childcare would just give me a break. Oh dear am ranting again, my bad habit Im afraid!

Its thowing it down here... and the frogs are having plenty of hugs :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: We've even got newts! Its so funny as our washing machine is in the garage, so DH has to risk the jumping obstacle course in order to get the washing out :D

Well Ive had my wine and now Im whacked. Fingers crossed DS manages to make it through the night without screaming.

    Night all :A

I'm not on a DMP but have been reading up on it. It seems like the majority of people are still being charged interest and charges. How can one ever clear the debt if thats the case? Surely, your debt free dates are not accurate if some or all of the creditors don't stop the interest and charges.
