Hi all, hope you're feeling better soon Erme.

Sat listening to the football at the moment.... boooo. Not looking good for England's chances! Edited to add - and getting rapidly worse :-( 4-1!!!!

Spent a few pounds today as it was a Morris Minor show, and DH needed cake. My car got 1 vote in the best in class, which made me very happy as she's looking a bit rough at the moment. The actual winner was well deserved though - we'll be going after the win next year in a fully rebuilt police panda :-) Found £5 outside the supermarket yesterday - wasn't sure what to do with it, so i just took it home. Feel slightly guilty about it, but it didn't seem high enough value to hand it in to someone.

We have 6 egg boxes of bantam eggs to use up - lots of home cake making to do for the rest of today!

    hello everyone!

I love the sound of that car lynda! I would never think to go to a car show, maybe something I could do one weekend.

Thank you Grandma for suggesting the replacement websites, I have ordered a pan and paddle thing from buysp@res at the cost of £18 including p and p. It seems thing have really caught up with me as I went to work last night and spent the night in tears and had to come home early. I made a minor (ish) mistake on my last shift and the manager spoke to me about it and said that if I did something similar I would have to leave. I felt/feel that its an excuse but im not sure why because I seemed (thought until now) to be doing ok. I couldnt focus and was struggling with orders/loud music and made another more serious mistake which was picked up on very quickly (feels like im being watched to some extent+its a private members club), the 5 mins later I knocked a glass over which broke and ended up in tears in the toilet. I just couldnt stop weeping but I still cant work out why. I had to tell them I was coming home and couldnt even put a face on it. I was ok-ish after I left and I feel fine now but I've now got to face ringing them as the manager said she wants a "chat".

Today I have had a very cheap day as I havent been out the house, really just pottered about maybe thats what I need.

Sorry this is cut and pasted from another thread but think you should know....

Think I might ask the GP for champix as that's an anti depressant for the smoking :D

    I had a lousey Sabbath...remember very little from 2pm-7pm..

DON'T MENTION THE BURN ON MY LEG ...

iT's not looking good ...reluctantly I think it needs a dressing.. I need a man URGENTLY to come and fix my shower so I can wash my hair whilst I have the dressing on....

So yeah....just trying to like wake up before doing daily clicks. .....then work (might get chance to check in @ work if not down the allotment ) and then like nap time and daily chores(cos some eejit hit the good brown stuff @ 2.30am )...

My weight is down to 57.2kg....think I need another evening on the juice and rice pudding meal (kind of split) and it should be down even further (like below 9 stone) and maybe with any luck down to 8.5 stone by the time I next get weighed ....Back on the diet...don't know why...Just makes sense...

Anyhow have to go now and shower....

    Blessings

    E

PS. Apparently the antibiotics can cause a reduction in appetite..at least chest is getting better finally :D

    Thanks :D

Thanks! Lol I'll only need to use it in professional circumstances I presume! :) We've not found anything so far, but keeping fingers crossed :) how are you this evening?
Ha, sorry - a bit of a delayed reply here - just wanted to say I'm grand - nothing exciting here. :)

Oh Jen, I really feel for you! That's a horrible situation in work. I hate feeling under scrutiny - it stresses me and causes me to make mistakes - so a vicious circle! I hope your boss is understanding and kind because that's what will produce the best outcome for both of you. But bosses like that seem to be rare. Big hugs and hope that you're being gentle and kind to yourself.

Hope the burn isn't infected Erme - hope you're ok. Maybe you should get it looked at, better safe than sorry I reckon. Good news about your chest improving!

All's well here. I'm trying to live off my freezer till the end of the month which should be easy since I have loads of food in and there's not long to go. My energy levels have been good lately so I'm trying to declutter. It's such a satisfying feeling. Unfortunately the 2nd hand bookshop wouldn't buy the heavy load of books I'd dragged into them so they'll go to the charity shop instead when I have the energy.

Hope everyone else is ok and hugs all round to anyone who wants or needs them. :)
Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far! :)
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!

    hello,

a bad day - the steward was not understanding and rang today (maybe I should have rung up yesterday instead of putting it off... ) they have decided I am "not suited to the job" seems to be a case my face doesnt fit and that I have made it easy for them to get rid of me. So not sure what I am going to do or how I am going to cope going back to living on £105 a week again (minus £75 rent). Its doable I guess but its gonna be miserable.

Feeling really !!!!!! and hiding from my housemates as dont want to face questions as they both know I work monday nights.

Jen, I'm so sorry to hear about your job. I hope you find something else soon. I could easily be at a car show every weekend, there's so many going on round here, but the time we need to spend on the garden and the petrol prices mean that I'm not doing too many this year. When we've got a really smart looking restored car next year I think we'll be doing a few more of the shows.

Erme, how are you today? Hope you're a bit better today, bigs hugs to both of you.

Nearly at the end of June and I've got £100 left in the budget for this month, which I'm pretty happy with. I managed to get some more antihistamine using B00ts vouchers yesterday, so no spend and 1p change ;-) DH's new tenants have paid rent so far, which is a nice bonus, though with all the initial letting agency fees we didn't see much of the rent this time. Next month should be much better, we've got insurance this time so if they don't pay like the last tenant the insurance will pay the rent!
