The new inhaler is fab Nuala...noticed the difference straight away
...it's an easi breathe rather than just a bog standard (that I'd stop using cos like it wasn't effective)...
Up way too early...should go back to bed...maybe a nap today after dr c? Need to get a bath (can't shower right now due to burn though might do cos dressing is half off anyways LOL and it'll need a new dressing on soon) and wash hair...
Only sleeping for 3 hours at a time following yesterday... Need to catch up on sleep.:) but 6 hours is alot better than 3 last night....
Ma is doing my head in. She phoned last night to 'check on my chest' and I'm like 'if you'd replied to my text of Monday am appropriately you wouldn't have a guilty conscience'. I tell you I bawled at her ansa phone @ 7am yesterday am (I thought she was out in the conservatory being partially deaf and not hearing the phone - nope she was at work) because she didn't respond appropriately on Monday. In a nutshell she is untrustworthy and unpredictable...typical PD (but you can't tell her that. Insight is not her strong point) 3.5 more columns on afghan (diverting the subject) and then onto border :j....will miss it when it's finished...:(
And today it's back on the cig and coffee reduction (feels impossible I have to say)... after yesterday's blip..

Well I've updated my sig to show my spendings so far - considering we are nearly half way through the year, I'm pretty chuffed with that figure!
I only have 2 days left at uni  and me & the BF are looking for somewhere to rent together which is exciting
Other than that, my life is pretty boring!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Lovely pic Erme! Hope you get a decent night's sleep tonight.
Best of luck homehunting SF and enjoy your last 2 days of being a student!
Nothing much to report here except that I'm still being a spendthrift when it comes to takeaways. I seem to veer from being really quite good to wasting money on junk. Also had an unexpected spend to fix a roof tile that had come off the roof but had a bit saved in the house maintenance kitty so that covered it.
Weather seems to have broken but I think the garden will be glad of the rain that's due. There's been lots of free entertainment near me tonight - I can hear Greenday who are playing a concert in a park near me and there's a bike race going past my house too!
Hope everyone's ok and hugs to anyone who'd like one.Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far!
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!

Just popping in to say hello and update my signature. Still here, still frugaling, still busy with garden.
Going to try the radish leaf soup link, thanks for that G.
Welcome back Mollymop and Strawberry, everyone's already said it, you're welcome to join us and it's never to late to try frugalising your lifestyle.
Erme, hope you're alright and can get the sleep pattern under control. Have you any idea why you self harm? Seems the two are connected, as it the quitting smoking & caffeine. baby steps, no point rushing around trying to do everything at once when you have the rest of your life to sort it all out.
Frugaldom will soon be back to normal - entire roof has been off and is now almost replaced. woodburner has arrived and will be fitted soon and the budget is going pretty much as expected. The emergency budget shouldn't affect me too much, other than see off the chance of paying any income tax next year. I'd be quite rich if I had almost £7,500 clear profit all for myself! :rotfl:
Still updating the blog everyday so, if I disappear for weeks on end, that's where you'll find me. Not long until the end of the first half of 2010 then we're on the climb towards 2011.
Catch up again soon - everyone stay safe, well, frugal and happy - it's always much more fun that way.I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

hi everyone,
Sorry I havent popped in for awhile. I've been very busy with various things, not sure where the days go....
I've been picking lettuce and trying to leave the roots in so to use them as Cut and come again, the GP's are loving them. The roots don't seem very deep so they keep coming up which is quite annnoying. I am hoping to plant more Kale, salad leaves etc soon for the piggies so I have constant supply, also some carrots now I know I can grow stuff afterallThe potatoes are doing well too but there seems to be little dots on the leaves so I am going to pick all the affected leaves and throw them away - not sure if its blight but it doesnt look good!
I am having problems with my breadmaker - the pan is leaking from the bottom, the kneading blade has been stuck in the pan for months and I have been avoiding dealing with it but it seems I am going to have no choice soon as hating shop bought bread. The BM is at least three years old, I was given it in 2006 so I guess for a fairly cheap model (Morphy Richards) its not done too badly, but still it couldnt really have happened at a more frustrating time.
I am really struggling to get everything done and I'm not kidding EVERYTHING seems to end up costing way more than I expected and plus I want so many things..... my spending has spiralled a little this past few weeks partly due to being sick of having not achieved any of the things I aimed to do at the beginning of the year so I am now trying to make up for that plus I am sick of never having clothes I feel comfortable in for my days off ... I live in Primarni clothes which I am constantly trying to make look a bit more classy, yesterday I sewed a hole in the arm pit area up in a cardigan so that I could continue wearing it. I feel like its just constant, with either having to replace things as they have become too worn out or things I want and need ..... I also masking taped my wheelie box up to try to prolong its life (it makes shopping without a car soooo much easier). I saved up what seemed like forever for a guinea pig cage (made using these) but its already cost me a an extra £30 in buying extra netting as I miscalculated how many grids I would need then some pieces of wood to use as joists as because its so wide Im worried it wont be stable enough. Plus I priced up the correx stuff and the guy wanted £45 for a sheet so Im "improvising" with cardboard and a carpet protector. My babies are currently in the lounge in their old cage and the new one looks like a white elephant as the finish just feels so far off.
Anyway, I didnt actually mean to write this much. I hope everyone else is well.
