Oh, and don't take chocolate - if it's hot it just melts and gets everywhere. Nutrigrain bar type things are great, small and have lots of energy.

Oh dear - Spring Clean did not go to plan. When i got home and looked round I wasn't even sure if anyone had been! The dust was still right where it was this morning, bathroom floor not done, kitchen floor not done, bath not touched etc etc. Upstair was even worse - my daughter has a dust allergy, so I hadn't dusted upstair for a long time (that is my story and I am sticking with it!) but the cleaners also didn't dust. To be honest I do a better job than they had done, and I hate housework.

Had to call the owner of the company out to have a look and although to begin with she was coming up with all sorts of excuses, once we got upstairs she couldn't say anything because there was no excuse.

So she is going to send out two different ladies next week to give it another go

Very lovely meeting with the benevolent fund man today, didn't realise just how much they like to help....paper work's been done, it's down to the committee now to see if we're worthy. :T

Also had the headteacher from DD2's school call today - very happy with her apology and what she plans to review....she also said she was very impressed with my letter, it was thought provoking and extremely emotive without being accusing or petty. I nearly asked her for a merit for it but thought that was being a bit cheeky.
