Tenmah, really sorry to hear that. One of the reasons I haven't got a cleaner yet is that the company I tried said I had to clean and tidy before they could send someone out!

Speaking of which, I need to get on with some housework now, since there's zero chance of sister doing it like she was supposed to (to work off £35 she owed me). Going to stick on my ipod and have a bit of a boogy while I'm doing it.

    Laters!

oooo thread moving to fast, I can't keep up.

Ames...good ideas there...I have wheels for the beer, its called a van! There are ten of us going so we need something big for our beer.

i am taking nothing of any value..so no lock needed.

No chocolate!!!! oh well, chocolate and beer don't mix well anyway.

    BB - huh!!!

Pap - well done on saving your mam some money...hope she was pleased

Tenmah - I would be tempted to stay next time the cleaners come. They tend to work much harder if you are there. Don't be embarrassed...I was at first but I have got over it now.

Get back to that bedroom Spud or I'll spritz my iron at you! :p

Very lovely meeting with the benevolent fund man today, didn't realise just how much they like to help....paper work's been done, it's down to the committee now to see if we're worthy. :T

Also had the headteacher from DD2's school call today - very happy with her apology and what she plans to review....she also said she was very impressed with my letter, it was thought provoking and extremely emotive without being accusing or petty. I nearly asked her for a merit for it but thought that was being a bit cheeky.

Nooo anything but the iron spritz  :D

Glad the meeting went well, and good news re the school too :T
