I really shouldn't look at ale sites..........there's always a tantalising section called 'Cider' to distract me :D

Found the socks as well so might to a pair of them and get some ale and wrap them together.

Pap - well done on saving your mam some money...hope she was pleased

Yep she was supprised really. Basically the dog ate her glasses. So with her profit share she wanted to get a new pair. While in specsavers chossing her glasses I saw the 2 for 1 leaflet... This wasn't pointed out buy 3 advisor's while there  So she was planing on a £45 pair and a £69 pair (she wanted a spare) with the eye test, tints in both and lenses in both... Which came to £258.00. However the 241 offer gave her two £69 glasses, eye test, one set of tints, one set of lenses... The other set completely free... Total £130

Judi, is your moblie 'unlocked'? If it is get a free orange sim online, it comes with £1 credit if you register it. Then if you want to use it for orange Wednesday change the sim, use it to get into the cinema and swap it back. Thats a min if 8 enrtys. Then you can eitjer get a new one or put credit on this one, but the latter expire within 60days I think if you don't make a call in a month :o

Had a good day today, managed to save Mum £180 and I also bought a few items for myself. Now however I am shattered and need to go to bed :rotfl:

Have a great evening all

Might just do that - my phone isn't unlocked but OH has an old one that is - cinema was manic! everyone is on easter hols, wet and orange wednesday ( a very bad combination!)- I also seem to be having a problem with my new bank card - the online ticket thing wouldn't accept it and neither would Barcalycard last night! so had to queue at cinema - saved £1.90 that they charge for online bookings though! Film was fab - I enjoyed it don't know about the kids!

Perhaps my idea of a spring clean and their idea is completely different. What they did or didn't do is no more than I would on my weekly clean.

I thought a Spring Clean would go much deeper than that. She said they wouldn't clean my shelves because I have a lot of fairy ornaments on there and they didn't want to break them, they wouldn't move a small set of drawers to do behind it because it had a lamp on it, and things like that but they are the things I would expect them to do (basically the things I can't be bothered to do all year round!)

Sorry - I know you have all moved on from my Spring Clean but I am just upset for my daughter who bought it for me as a birthday present!

I watched the business inspector last week - she looks like she could be a man in drag (and sounds like it too) but she has the smallest waist and hips ever!
