And yours is nowhere near as solid as mine in the middle. (Nor is Rikki's). There's something not quite right, although I'm not disappointed for a first cake. I did try to make sure I got lots of air in it....sifted the flour and whisked it a lot.
What's your secret?

We only photographed the slice that looked the best.
Maybe it could of done with a few more minutes cooking time?You can't tell sometimes its just one of thos things. I've had some real disasters.
