Put it on a slightly curved up plate....the weight of the top cake & frosting will flatten it down a bit anyways!
Just a word about the greaseproof paper...does everyone do theirs like this....coming up the sides I mean? I just put a circle in the bottom and then run a knife round the edge to loosen the sides from the tins. You do look as if you have slightly frilly edges this way......not being picky really...just a thought for next time...Fab job...well done you!!!! :T

When do I try and get them out of the tin?If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0

Wow!! :j Excellent
When you cool them on the rack thingy I suggest putting the tops to the bottom. It just seems to flatten the tops a bit. Does that make sense? And it is best to leave them until cold before _party_ frosting them. They look really good. Nearly time for a tea-partyYou - only you- will have stars that can laugh :rotfl:

Wait about 5 mins or so - they should start to shrink back slightly from the sides of the tin. That's when you can go in with a knife and loosen them gently all around. You - only you- will have stars that can laugh :rotfl:
