I've just got the whisk going. I had to do the wooden spoon thing first, coz even I'm not daft enough to stick an electric whisk into a solid lump of butter and expect stuff not to go everywhere.
Anyway, I'm just about to start adding eggs and things. What I need to know, is anything time-critical from here on in? I mean if I get it all together and then start messing about with greaseproof paper etc., will it be ok? Or should I get all that ready before I go any further? If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
