Today I a) earned brownie point with my mother for taking away her charity box
    b) got to buy myself a couple of books - a rare treat
    c) helped a good cause
    d) wrote a couple of extremely short and easy reports
and, helpfully, got paid a few quid as well.

Why aren't all jobs that good?

As an aside, apparently it really doesn't matter if you have an older car for GFK test drives, they are really trying to shift the ones that are left.

    Good Afternoon TG,
    In reply to weeg's name.
We have a EAST / WEST divide here in SCOTLAND.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Weegies (Glaswegians) V Edinburgh (Edinburgh(ers) & the banter goes back & forward, sometimes humourous ? most times VERY insulting.

    & I am ???????????????????
    (thats a state secret ;)

    Aah, thank you MAMB!!!

So weeg is pronounced "Wee-gee" rather than the one-syllable "Weeg" that I've always read it as!!

With Abai if you release a job are you able to re-book it or does it disappear so you can't see it again?? I need to reschedule and they haven't got back to me.

If you release it, as long as you're quick enough you should be able to grab it back again. I've done it several times before - someone (can't remember who ;) ) told me that ABA-i actually encourage people to do this rather than not do the job at all.

o0o0o I'm waiting for some too - I think they were to email instructions on Monday if it's the same thing
I had a strange package today - and no idea where it came from and no instructions with it - is it from "them"?

Yes!! Got delivered to my neighbour's as I was at work - nothing else in the envelope, not even a comp slip. BUT - had an email now which explains it - there is more to come!

I'm sad to say I got all excited as I thought I had ordered something pretty that I had forgotten about ... oh well!

Got the email brief now so its much more clearer (although the 2nd parcel ... erm???:rotfl:)

If you want to be sacked and have a big phone bill, yes!!!

I think there's more chance of s/he being sacked for not doing the assignment correctly, don't you?

And to avoid a big phone bill, use a dial-through number, many of which are well publicised on this site.

Well, ever since I joined the Mystery shopping thread on here 3 years ago, people have been saying "Don't phone Gap, they don't like it, you'll get the sack." I was only repeating what I've been told myself.

You're obviously so very valuable to them that they don't mind you phoning them.
