I did my first jobs for GFK last week, can anybody let me know when they will report back on my reports! I am waiting as it would be nice to know whether they are wrong or right!

With the egg ones I am now worried because I have always spent more on a special offer but have spent under the amount on the consumable as per the brief. I have not had any queries so now I shall wait until bated breath to see if I am paid. Gosh there is a lot to learn:o
GfK don't report back on your reports unless they have a query on them. If you don't hear from them within 2 weeks consider that it was okay. They don't grade your reports or anything like that.

With the egg jobs I have sometimes spent less than the allowance and sometimes more. It has never been queried. As long as you buy the eggs and own brand product to complain about you'll be fine. The reimbursement amount give you is the total amount they will reimburse so for example if the reimbursement they state in the briefing notes is £5 and you spend £4.50 you will only get £4.50 back. If you spend £6.00 you will only get £5.00 back. Hope that makes sense.

    Hi again

All egg jobs done and dusted, no problems with returns so thanks for advice.

Could some kind soul who did a POS placement job for you-know-who last month that involved giving away gloves (You will know what job I mean if you did it!) PM me the fee per call please. Want to get the invoice in but can't find the original e mail.

    Many thanks

If you release it, as long as you're quick enough you should be able to grab it back again. I've done it several times before - someone (can't remember who ;) ) told me that ABA-i actually encourage people to do this rather than not do the job at all.
With Abai if you release a job are you able to re-book it or does it disappear so you can't see it again?? I need to reschedule and they haven't got back to me.

Not sure about this as I seem to remember sometime last year someone was saying they had been struck off the books for doing this.

Generally best to telephone them but if you have already done it I would send them an email to explain and also phone them on Monday morning...wouldn't want the sack!

    I telephoned Gyp once...still working for them.:rotfl:

Argh! Gapbuster is still down! I did a burger job earlier and want to get it in, don't want to spend my whole Saturday evening waiting around!

24 hours from 5pm, Friday 14th May, I make it 25 hours and 53 mins so far!

All of the ones listed are recommended companies, it depends what sort of experience, if any you have. If you have never mystery shopped before Gapbuster is a good place to start to see if you like it. Easy reports and a fair few jobs but repetitive jobs and low fees. Retail Eyes have plenty of jobs but the pay is low and the reports can be long.

Just follow all the advice on the first page and you can't go wrong. Good luck.

There is a job on ABAi that I can do, but can't do it until Wednesday. If I was to book it now is it generally OK if I then contact the rep on Monday and ask for it to be moved to Wednesday do you think? I don't think it will still be around by Monday!
