I only did 5 but I thought some of the customer service was shocking.
I watched 2 SA's stand behind the tills, chatting away while serving customers and then whispering to each other and laughing and pointing at a customer who had just left :(

My wait at the checkouts was ridiculous in every store - 6-7 customers in each shop and no opening any more tills!

I wonder if it's a North/South thing? Northerner's must be more chatty and friendlier :D

Did loads of work yesterday and then watched a film with my boys once the little one was in bed. Ended up staying up till after midnight to get the reports on. I'm really tired now, but I've got boot camp at 8am. I can't decide if I'm dedicated or insane :rotfl:
Here I go again on my own....

Thanks Tomla but I don't have a scanner. As my friend from London says, I'm in the South West and down here we still point when we see an aeroplane :rotfl:!

Metal birds - they will never catch on. I see you have already been pointed in the direction of a camera but if you have to stand under a black hood to take it and develop the negative for an hour I would probably post it. ;op

on another point why do so many MS companies have problems with place names when they are in the addresses they then detail. currently lookingh at a store in Haywards Heath called 'heywood heath" and "havent" for Havant.

    Morning all

Sorry, another couple of egg questions (only recently joined ESA so it's all new to me!)

Is it ok to buy other goods as well as the eggs and consumable item? (Obviously just claim for those 2 items). Secondly, I see most of you seem to be taking a sandwich back after biting it..what other things and reasons do others use? Would it be ok to buy something and open the packaging slightly and take it back like that saying it was already open?

    Thanks

I either go for crisps and crush them - own brand bacon fries or if you get something like own brand sausage rolls or scotch eggs and rip the packaging at the back seam and take it back with a paranoid 'can't be too careful about dodgy packaging' line. Milk too - unscrew, lift the seal and don't put the lid back on too tight...abracadabra!! leaky milk

I think this just shows you can take anything back, if im doing a few I vary it, drink that tastes funny hear, crisps that are crushed there...you can pick anything own-branded and make it returnable.

There is a limit on transactions and it is shown in the brief and on the last question of the questionnaire.

    I'm in the North :p

On the recommendations from Becles (I think) I bought the handmade own brand crisps, bought small bags in first 2 shops then noticed the bigger bags! I just crushed them. Oh and I got a fruit smoothie as well and took the outer seal of it and just returned it saying 'This usually has a seal on'

I'm seriously worried now! I read the brief as saying that you had to spend £x and they would only re-imburse a maximum of £x and, as its just about impossible to stick to exactly to that sum, I've bought something else as well which has taken the total to between 24p and 60p over £x. Does that mean they will throw all my reports out !!!!

I spent 90p less in 2 shops, 50p less in another and then 8p less in the others.
I bought the egss and one other item and made sure it came to LESS than the amount they would reimburse.
I always read it as 'We will reimburse up to a maximum of £X' Therefore if I spend less than that I just get refunded what I spent, if I spent more than that then I just get the £x amount above and I've forked out whatever is left over.

Your reports shouldn't get thrown out!

I did my first jobs for GFK last week, can anybody let me know when they will report back on my reports! I am waiting as it would be nice to know whether they are wrong or right!

With the egg ones I am now worried because I have always spent more on a special offer but have spent under the amount on the consumable as per the brief. I have not had any queries so now I shall wait until bated breath to see if I am paid. Gosh there is a lot to learn:o
